New favorite Fort Lauderdale stay.
Location was great,ten minute walk to the oceanside!Landscaping was well kept,pool was clean and warm.Towel service and room cleaning was daily and workers were very nice and helpful!

This is not a hotel. It doesn't allow you to check in and doesn't answer phone calls even from Hotels.com to process a refund that was obviously needed since we didn't even get to stay because we couldn't check in. We instead after being ignored and hung up on had to at 3AM find another real hotel, you know with staff there. Crap response when we went in and talked to the person that hung up on us. Lied to our face. Horrible people in my opinion. Definitely wouldn't recommend and would never stay here either.

Happy at the Ocean Mile
Another wonderful stay at the Ocean Mile Hotel. Oliver the owner/manager makes this quant little hotel a hidden gem. Close to the beaches and attractions at a reasonable price! What more could you ask?

BEWARE! Gave our prepaid room away!
Terrible place! Don’t waste your time or money. We booked here and prepaid hotel weeks before. Check in was for. 3pm-10pm. We arrived around 7pm and they gave our room away. Hotels.com were not helpful either. Very disappointing!

The room was nice except for the really loud fan, the kitchenette had no dish towel/ paper towel. The bath towels were the scratchiest we’ve ever used. The office service was lacking. We came in during regular evening hours and had to wait 20 min. for the office staff to arrive. Then we were told we had to leave a 40 dollar cash only deposit for the room key! This was not disclosed anywhere on the hotel.com app. They did give us a better room than originally expected. Then in the morning we had to wait until the office opened at 9:30 to check out! Beware if you have early plans! You get what you pay for.

Nice place in Great location
Manager very nice. The place looks new on outside. The inside was a combo of new and old. Great little kitchen, beds and pillows were super comfy. Bathroom remodeled. The main sleeping area of the room needs more light.

Tv selections were excellent. Furniture was average. Location on A1A was good for walking and busses Door lock seemed flimsy. Microwave didn't work. Hallway light flickered. Shower tap was backwards. Lots of road noise fron A1A.

The good: Beautiful pool area Comfortable beds and clean well decorated rooms. The location is terrific. I left my keys with my wallet attached on the table as I waited to check out and they called me before I got too far away. I really appreciated that. The bad: Front lobby is small and cluttered.The man then informed there's a $20 deposit for the key. I don't mind this charge but it isn't on their website or the Hotel.com page. I had to walk to an ATM. A heads up should be given. He gave us a key and we were trying to get in and a man screamed at us that we had the wrong room and cussed us out. It wasn't the wrong room they gave someone our room but didn't change it in their book. We weren't apologized to until the next day and another guy was working. Still this didn't ruin our mood. Stuff happens. It's the amount of bad service that adds up. We then went for food at about 9:30 and this woman had a reservation and they closed so she couldn't get to her room. She was super upset because she paid already. The next morning they didn't open again until 10. Meaning we didn't get to use the pool but for a quick half hour because check out was at 11. They locked the pool. He said 9 when I called then 9:45 showed up at 10. 4 other guests were in line to check out and waited for an hour for him to show. When I checked out he was pleasant at first then super pushy about my review. I mean super pushy. Trying to do it for me, arguing when I said no. I informed I'm a travel agent
