Great vacation

We have stayed at the gulf and the bay side at this resort and both have advantages. The views from this unit faced the sunset which was a beautiful perk. The owner was quick to answer questions when needed. We would definitely book this unit again! Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Nice condo

This was a very nice condo. The bunk room was a bit small for our teen (plus not enough privacy as bunk room isn't enclosed at the top above door). It would work great for small children though. Great view of the beach & pool. Very clean. Lots of blankets, pillows, & beach toys. We also liked having beach service (chairs & umbrella) included.

Great rental for small families

The space was great. We had a great view of the beach with direct beach access from the property. All of the popular things to do and places to eat were 5 to 10 minute walk. Destin was a also a short drive away with more attractions. The staff were friendly and the facilities were clean. Would definitely stay again and refer to freinds.

Perfect getaway!

This location is amazing and everyone we encountered was extremely friendly. The location is within walking distance to many restaurants and eateries so a car is not necessary. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful condo and perfect location! The only problem we had was the stove smoked pretty bad and it took forever to heat up and also the sliding door kept coming off track but other than that we had a blast and will definitely be back! Thank you❤️

Great Unit at a Fantastic Resort

This is our second year at Destin West Resort and once again we were not disappointed. Our unit this year had a much better beach view and was more updated and overall nicer. The check in process was quick and easy. We love that it came with beach chairs and umbrella which we didn’t have last year, such a nice touch. We overall love this resort and plan to come back. Some small things that could have been better but did not diminish our experience. The master bedroom blinds didn’t close fully and the curtains were not black out so the room was glaringly bright at 7 am. The mattress in the master bedroom also was not kind to our backs but that may be just personal preference. We are so appreciative of our host for letting us stay in their great condo!

Amazing Vacation

We had such an amazing time at the Gulfside resort. The unit's proximity to the beach and pool elevator was unbeatably convenient. The facility was very well maintained and gorgeous. We took advantage of the beach and pool daily, and spent many evenings at the lazy river at Bayside. Included beach chair service at GS was really great though I had to be down there each day at 9am to reserve our spot for the day. We got placed in the 2nd, 1st and 3rd rows on various days thoughout the week.The pool was never full and we had easy access to chairs any time we wanted. The chairs on Gulfside do have some noticable wear and may be ready for update soon. The chairs on BS were much newer. We are happy we chose to stay on the Gulfside which had a more relaxed atmosphere over the party atmosphere at Bayside that wasn't right for our family. As for the unit itself, it was adorable, spacious and well stocked with games, movies, beach toys and kitchenware. Our only complaint was that we weren't provided with a dish rag and only given 1 dish towel. We had to purchase these items at the store along with dish soap, laundry detergent, hand soap and shampoo/conditioner (provided shampoo/conditioner samples were not enough for a week), though we expected to buy those items. Could use a new coffee pot. Plenty of blankets/pillows provided. The master bed was extremel firm, but the bunk beds were nice and soft. All in all it was a great time and we are already planning our next trip next year.

This rental was amazing. Much roomier than it appeared in pics. The location is great and access to the pool area and beach were fantastic. The grounds were super clean and well kept. This property owner makes sure you had everything you needed for a great stay. So many little personal touches that made it an amazing place to stay!
