The savoy ticked all the boxes. The room was clean, the staff were super friendly & accommodating. The Alexander bar & restaurant within the Savoy was the perfect spot for dinner. Signature cocktails served with a story just added to the fabulous experience. Pleasure to stay here & I’ll definitely be back. Perfect weekend getaway spot.

Great lobby. Great staff. Location very convenient for Southern Cross station and tram, and walking distance to South bank. Rooms perfectly serviceable. Good water pressure! The only thing missing was a hairdryer in the room. This may have been available from the front desk (I didn't ask), but one in the room would have been useful.

The walls are very thin. Our neighbours had one hell of a weekend though. The buffet breakfast was lacklustre. For the price my expectations were higher than what was delivered.

The receptionist was unwelcoming. She almost seemed bothered by serving us. Parking was included in our stay but they insisted we come in before being given the details for parking which was not very logical. The shower gel was empty in the shower. The building is beautiful but rooms are in need of touch up eg scuffed door frames and skirting boards.
