My husband and I stayed a Tuesday-Friday in June to celebrate our anniversary. We got the email with checkin codes shortly before checkin time. I appreciated the extra key.
The room had different furniture than the pictures, same layout but chairs instead of a couch and a corner electric fire place. The room was plenty spacious, the bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept on away from home. The bathroom is built up, 1 step to get in, another step to get up to the toilet and shower (we had a bit of a learning curve in the middle of the night remembering the step!). There are no bathroom fixtures (no toilet paper holder, no hand towel ring, no bath towel racks or hooks), which was really annoying especially with bath towels and pool towels and swimsuits and only the shower rod to hang them from. The kitchenette was great, fridge was plenty big, plates, glasses, coffee mugs, and wine glasses provided.
Nowhere in the description does it mention - but this is a 6 suite inn that all share the pool/hottub area. It didn't end up being an issue for us (we only ended up at the pool with another couple twice). The pool and hot tub area was nice, but the plants had gotten a bit overgrown and there were mosquitoes. The hot tub was HOT. I wasn't able to use it for more than a couple minutes one day and then couldn't get myself to get back in again any other days, but my husband liked it.
The location is great, only about a block and a half from the main drag of tourist attraction, restaurants, wine tasting rooms, etc, but it is far enough away that it's very quiet. We walked everywhere except Tuesday evening for dinner (the main drag is almost entirely closed on Tuesdays, and somewhat still on Wednesdays).
We would definitely stay again, but possibly bring
