Our home is a quaint antique house close to everything you could ever want to do in Central Florida. We completely remodeled the home in 2020 and guests always comment on how charming, clean, and super peaceful it is. The house is divided into 2 distinct, separate sides. As our quest you will have self checkin access through the side kitchen door and occupy the south end of the house with complete use of the large backyard and wooden deck with outdoor seating. The charming space, entirely yours, we now call an "apartment", is a large, 5 room, 800+ square foot dwelling with 1 bedroom and 1 bath. Home has original hardwood floors, stained glass, fireplace, and preserved antique tile in the bathroom. Kitchen has been completely updated with granite, unique tile, & stainless steel appliances, and is fully equipped. Entire space is bright and cheery and uniquely decorated. Large living room has comfy couch, love seat, 2 additional cute seating chairs with fireplace and TV armoire. Dining room table seats 6 with leaf added and has fully equipped buffet. King Size Bed is super comfortable with comfy corner chair and desk also in bedroom. Home is equipped with TV, Internet, and Netflix is provided for your movie viewing enjoyment. There is plenty of room to park your cars, boats, trailer, and RV. Neighborhood is safe and peaceful and we know you will love the area. We would love to have you come and stay with us. We are superhosts and live a short 10 minute distance away and are available from 10 am to 8 pm if you have any questions or need assistance. We are happy to help you in any way we can and also offer suggestions for restaurants and fun outings in the area on the water, for wildlife viewing, and to visit theme parks (about 1 hour drive from house).
There is a shared separate laundry room in the garage in case you have use of a washer and dryer.
House is located 1/2 mile from the Villages with easy access to all the amenities of that area and to Hwy 27/U.S. 441. It is one block from a city park equipped with pool for swimming, racquetball courts, and plenty of place to walk or exercise. Main down town of quaint Fruitland Park (with its 4 city buildings) is 1 street away with library about 5 blocks. In addition, our beloved Lake County has loads of places to enjoy a variety of water sports with over 1400 lakes and freshwater springs to choose from. Boating, sailing, fishing, kayaking, jetskiing, and bird/animal watching abound waiting for you to come and enjoy. House is also directly in the center of the state with 1 hour to 1 hour & 1/2 easy access to 4 international airports: Orlando, Tampa, Sanford, & Daytona, as well as both coasts (Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic), a myriad of beaches, Orlando Theme Parks, and 15 minutes from the intersection of I-75 and the Florida Turnpike.
