College Dorms Might Be Better

Turning the bathroom light on/off also engaged/disengaged the loud fan. The bathroom light was also controlled by a motion sensor, such that taking a shower resulted in the light (and fan) turning off unless you periodically wave your arm beyond the shower curtain toward the motion sensor. The bath towels seemed sized more for children than adults. I was only able to engage the shower while standing in the tub due to angle requirements when pulling the knob out to start water flow. Pulling while standing next to the tub felt like I was going to break the knob off. I did not have a privacy flyer to hang on the door knob, so I did asked the front desk to keep house keeping away until after I checked out. Nevertheless, house keeping knocked on my door every day of my stay and tried to enter, despite me speaking loudly toward the door that I did not want service. The walls are thin enough such that I could hear neighbors snoring and street noise, even on the 4th (top) floor. The gym has some machines but the only viable one seemed to be a treadmill. There were no weights or anything for effective strength training - only a bit of cardio in a poorly ventilated room.
