The Cloran Mansion is absolutely beautiful! Paul, our host was wonderful from the time I booked a room until checkout. The breakfast was fresh and served in courses. I highly recommend this property for your next Galena visit.

The Cloran Mansion was a unique experience with a location close to downtown Galena. The property is well-kept with beautiful grounds. In addition, the owner offers many tiny things that make the stay enjoyable... a room with coffee offerings, 100s of DVDs, snacks, etc... And the breakfasts are served in a formal dining room with a view of the local fields. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

We were blown away with all aspects of our stay at Cloran Mansion. Paul is an exceptional innkeeper! His attention to detail is exquisite. We were there for our 50th anniversary. He had gotten us a box of fabulous assorted chocolates from Galena’s Kandy Kitchen. That was above and beyond!!! We stayed in the Sara Suite on the first floor. We loved the room, its furnishings and decor. The bed itself was very comfortable. And each of the three breakfasts we had were culinary masterpieces!! Both my wife and I heartily recommend it.

The Cloran Mansion was the perfect stay for our little babymoon getaway. We stayed in Anne’s room which was just enough space for us two. The room came stocked with water and there’s a community area with a Brita, microwave, ice and coffee machines. The most impressive part of all were the two breakfasts we had. Paul and his team went above and beyond and everything was so delicious! Definitely would stay here again and looking forward to it!

IlWe went in the office season and literally had the entire house to ourselves. We had our own designated room but all the other guest rooms were open and it felt like being in a home and not a hotel. The bed was comfortable with plenty of blankets and nice pillows. Every room has a gas fireplace to provide heat. The whirlpool tub was outstanding. Breakfast was included and some of the best food I have had. So much good, we never went away hungry. All around a great trip. I will definitely be coming back and I recommend it to anyone visiting the Galena area.
