Don't believe negative reviews. Updated rooms!!!
This is the first time I have stayed here although I have seen it numerous time on my trips to G'burg. The room was clean, the beds fairly comfortable and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We had reserved a 1 queen bed room with a fireplace through hotels.com, but we decided we wanted to go a day early. There were no rooms through hotels.com, so I called the hotel and they had a room. I asked if we could just get the room we were going to be in and not have to move and the young man (Dev) said "yes". We got there tuesday night and when I checked in I made sure we could stay in the same room. Well, evidently there was a change and I was told we would have to leave the room the next morning. When I told them what Dev told me, the young man at the desk immediately made the change and we were able to stay in the room. Because of the trouble, we got the 2 queen bed with a balcony. I couldn't ask for a nicer group of people at this hotel. The ONLY negative is the water pressure in the shower. It is not good. I don't understand any hotel these days that doesn't have good water pressure, but we survived. (LOL) The light in the bathroom isn't bright, but that didn't bother me. The water was good and hot to take a shower and they have fans in the bathroom, which are unheard of these days. They even have a heater for the bathroom. Really cool. All in all...great stay. It's also close to Crockett's breakfast restaurant...where we eat every time. We also saw a bear our last morning.

Bueno y bonito no tan económico, pero bien , lo malo tienen que advertirte más acerca de los osos tuvimos una terrible experiencia con uno ya que en la madrugada un oso rompió el cover de mi Jeep para sacar algo de comida enlatada y no pudimos hacer nada también se ve muy inseguro las ventanas de la habitación no tienen protección si el oso quisiera entrar la rompe y ya , en la recepción no me ayudaron con alguna alarma o algo deberían tener algún sistema para que los osos se asusten y se vayan no volvería a quedarme alli

The area was just far enough away from the downtown rush but close enough to easily walk to every where. The river was visible behind our room and the gondola out the front. Perfect for us to enjoy a weekend in Gatlinburg.

The views were good, and I absolutely loved the convenience of walking everywhere! The only thing I was upset about were the covers on the bed. They were too thin for my liking but not a make or break situation. Would stay here again!

The location is close to the strip, and it has a view overlooking the river. We got see see bears walking down the river. Great to sit down and relax. Great view of the mountains. The beds were clean, floors and bathrooms. Extra towels, toilet paper were provided. Nice size tv and lots of spaces to store clothes. The only down complaint I have was that the water in the shower gets backed up and it takes a moment to drain. The place is a little run down but nothing that can’t be overlooked with their great prices. Small breakfast nook was set up for the guest. The pool was closed due to off season but that was just an observation. Otherwise our check in and check out was quick and they were courteous. Will be a spot we will consider to stay in the future.
