Come unwind at the Take it Ease Sea House! Make yourself at home in this beautiful 4 bedroom/2 bathroom, waterfront home. With enough space to sleep ten people and its luxurious open floor plan, you will enjoy the amenities of being at home. Each bedroom can be environmentally controlled to achieve each person’s individual comfort level and linens, bath and beach towels are supplied. All rooms come equipped with ceiling fans and adjustable lighting. Entertainment amenities included with the house are: flat screen TV’s, cable television, Roku devices in each room, DVD player, Bose speaker for music, and free wireless high-speed internet. Assorted board games, playing cards and books are available to those who want to disconnect and relax. There is a beach at the top and bottom of the property with lounge chairs and umbrellas ready for a day in the sun. Need to rinse off sand after a day on the beach? The house offers two outdoor showers: one on the beach and one attached to the house.

Ready to dine and entertain with a spectacular view of the ocean? Our outdoor covered veranda is ready for you. An outdoor gas grill is ready for your use and while you are waiting for dinner you can play some corn hole or horseshoes. The garage on the property is stocked with all the beach toys you can dream of: paddle boards, kayaks, rafts, snorkel gear, water shoes, life jackets, wet suits, beach games and toys for the kids. Head out to the rock in front of the house for some incredible snorkeling and swim with sea turtles passing by or head right down the street to Jolly Hall for some beach combing and swimming!

Want to relax at the house? Have a massage right on the veranda while listening to the waves crash and feel the cool ocean breeze as it hits your skin. Not in the mood to cook? You can arrange for a chef to come to the house and cook you an authentic Bahamian meal! We also offer grocery shopping which can be done for you by our caretaker (for an additional fee) to make sure the house is ready with your food and beverages when you arrive.

One of the best ways to see Exuma is to get out on the water. Renting a boat or taking part in an excursion is the best way. There are many excursions available. We recommend swimming with the pigs, feeding the iguanas, visiting 007 Grotto Hole and see the mermaid play the piano at the bottom of the sea. You can also head over to Stocking Island to see starfish beach and sand dollar beach, feed some sting rays, and have a nice lunch at Chat N’ Chill restaurant. Just minutes away, in downtown George Town, a water taxi can pick you up and take you to Stocking Island or you can call Elvis’ Water Taxi to pick you right from the house!

By land, Great Exuma has some beautiful beaches. Explore the Tropic of Cancer beach on Little Exuma or head up to Coco Plum Beach to swing on the swings in the water and collect sand dollars. No matter which beach you decide to visit, you will be amazed by the color of the water and the powdery white sand between your toes. Downtown George Town has boutiques for our shop-till-you-drop vacationers. Head down to check out local vendors, the straw market, or to grab some lunch at one of the many restaurants.

The Take it Ease Sea House is located in the perfect spot. Five minutes to get to downtown George Town, two minutes away from a variety of fantastic restaurants, twenty-five minutes from the Emerald Bay Golf Club at Sandals Resort (for our golf enthusiasts) and ten minutes to get to the airport.

Great Exuma International Airport has direct flights from Miami and Charlotte (American Airlines), Atlanta (Delta), Fort Lauderdale (Silver Airways), Toronto, Canada (Air Canada) and Nassau (Bahamas Air or Western Air).

All Cancellations must be requested by e-mail to exuma@takeiteasesea.com or internet booking site. Tennant will receive a full refund for cancellations 60 days prior to check in. If the tenant requests a refund between 30-60 days of reservation the 50% deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations for any reason received 30 days or less prior to arrival forfeit the full amount of the reservation.

Absolutely Perfect Home Base for Relaxation and Adventure on Exuma
We stayed with a multigenerational family of 9 including teen kids. We never felt crowded and never ran out of hot water! The house has all the necessary amenities and more for cooking, water sports, and relaxation. Our host, Jennifer, was extremely communicative and helpful from booking to checkout. We found a broken paddle for one of the Kayaks --- we had a new paddle the same day. The beds and furniture were great and super comfortable. We loved the outdoor shower (with hot water) and the wash by the beach to get sand off. Even though we were next to other houses, the property felt very private. Some of us have been to Exuma 5 times, others 3 times. If we come back we would stay here again without reservation!

So Beautiful
Jennifer was very easy and quick to communicate with. We definitely had the most amazing view! The only reason for the 4 stars on accuracy is because there is no hot tub, which was in the profile. Would definitely stay there again.

Great house with beautiful views
We enjoyed our stay at the take it ease sea house. Jen was very helpful and responsive. They helped us with gathering groceries and recommendations while in Exuma. The location of the house is fantastic with easy access to restaurants and stores. There is a house being built next to the property but the noise was minimal as the workers are usually on break. The beds were comfy, tons of towels and beach toys for the kids and adults to use including water shoes for the rocky part of the beach. The one thing they didnt have was shampoo and toiletries so make sure to pack some. Overall we enjoyed our time at the house and will definitely be back.

Breathtaking views and perfect location
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home for our first visit to Exuma. Perfect central location to all areas of the island. Spacious porch with beautiful views, and snorkeling just steps away. We cooked every breakfast and dinner and the kitchen was Iwell stocked. It was nice to have all the water and beach accessories you needed as we visited many beaches. We could not have had a more perfect trip and will defiantly be back.

Girls trip to Exuma
The property was everything we expected plus more! Very clean and check in process was super simple. The house has everything you could think of needing, minus food and clothes of course. Plenty of toilet paper, lots of towels, clean water to drink, beach/water activity items enough for an entire family. Location was excellent, just a short drive from the airport. Private beach. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Could not have asked for more! Host was very friendly and great at communicating. Highly recommend this property.

Small piece of heaven on earth…
The property owner sweats the small things that we generally take for granted, but it speaks volumes about the many features and the quality of this villa. I could not think of anything that was missed, from the outside beach shower, to the selection of water-sports equipment. Exuma is a small piece of heaven if you explore the many crooks snd crannies, but if you just want to chill and stay, then this hits the spot. We will be back…

Family and friends trip to Exuma
We made a family trip to Exuma in 2022. When we got home, we immediately started planning a trip for June of this year; another great trip! I found our rental,Take it Ease Sea, in our budget and in a great location. The house was close to town, restaurants, grocery stores, a meat market and a beverage store. The house was amazing! Very clean and updated. We had plenty of room for 8 adults. The back yard was heavenly; filled with thick, luscious grass and white sand; places for sunning and shaded areas. We had plenty of water toys and snorkeling equipment to enjoy. We ate our meals on the covered veranda and lounged out there also. The water is beyond description and is steps away from the back door. We saw very few people on the beach and felt like we had Exuma to ourselves. It is an amazing house in an amazing place. Jen was very easy to communicate with and flexible with dates and check out times. Just a great stay! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

The property was beautiful and clean and well furnished. It was in a good location on the island and we were the only ones we ever saw on the beach there at the house. I really don't have anything negative to say about the house at all. I would highly recommend it if you are going to Exuma.

Amazing house!
Four friends & I rented this beautiful property. The house was beautiful, clean and the owner was super responsive. The beds were extremely comfortable, loved the outside shower and we made use of the nice, newer grill a couple of nights. When we discovered 2 of the beach chairs were broken, the owner arranged to have 2 new ones delivered the same day! This property truly exceeded all of our expectations in every way! Wonderful House
Great size, amenities and location of this house. The owner was very responsive to questions asked during and after booking. I didn’t rent a car but the location made it easy to get around Great Exuma via taxi. The one issue with check in is that the door lock code doesn’t become active until check in time, but I didn’t have any internet service at the property (until I could connect to the house WiFi) to pick up the code so we were locked out. Fortunately I had the caretaker’s number in my phone, called and she had the code. So be prepared that that could happen if you’re getting there right at check in. That was the only hiccup in a great stay during a great Exuma vacation. Thank you!

Absolutely perfect getaway! The home matches the listing exactly which is what we wanted for our children and grandchildren’s week stay. We made use of everything the home had to offer from the comfortable furnishings inside and outside to all of the water toys for enjoying the beautiful turquoise water right in front of the house. Our stay at this Take it Ease Sea House was absolutely amazing! The property exceeded all of our expectations and provided us with a truly unforgettable vacation experience. The house itself was stunning, with beautiful decor that truly captured the essence of island living. We felt like we were in a luxurious paradise as soon as we walked through the door. The living spaces were spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our group to spread out and relax. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook and entertain, and the outdoor grill was a fantastic touch that allowed us to cook up some delicious meals while enjoying the beautiful weather. The outdoor spaces were the real highlight of the property, though. The expansive deck and sandy beach area was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the ocean and plenty of space to lounge and soak up the sun. The beach was just a short walk away, and we loved being able to spend our days swimming and snorkeling in the crystal-clear water. The property was also perfectly located for exploring the island. We were just a short drive away from some of the best restaurants, shops, and attractions in Exuma, and we loved being able to experience everything the island had to offer. Overall, we had an incredible time in the Bahamas, and we can't wait to come back again soon. The property was everything we could have asked for and more, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly luxuri

Excellent Place
It was the first time we visited Exuma, and we really enjoyed our stay. The great thing about this place was the beach within a few steps into the backyard. It was extremely private, and the house came with a bunch of toys such as paddle boards, games, kayaks, and beach shoes. We really enjoyed our stay, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone going to Exuma!

Fantastic house and view
You could not ask a better place to stay. The view was magnificent. Swimming on the beach out front was great. Family and grandchildren had the best time. From getting property to check in to stay and to check out was as easy as possible. I would recommend the house to everyone.
