Quality Inn and Suites at Gilroy was a nice place for one night stay while driving to Yosemite. The room was better than expected. Bathroom was very well equipped with nice shower. Breakfast room was a bit on the smaller side. But there were 2 waffle makers and many good breakfast options. The staff at breakfast area was courteous, they were replenishing the items pretty quickly. Overall Pretty Good Stay. I would definitely recommend staying at this place

The hotel room itself was great and the staff were super friendly. But the location is a bit off. We’ve reached late night and there was a guy smoking and walking around suspiciously in the property. Was spooky as I had kids sleeping in the car and I needed to carry them in one at a time. The other issue was although the site says it’s queen bed, the beds were really full sized. Wouldn’t bat an eye if I were traveling alone but with kids, sometimes these things matter.

Staff was ok. Room was ok. Not completely clean. Hair in refrigerator. Beer caps & cigarettes in dirt in front of room. Had microwave & refrigerator. Heater worked good. Pool & hot tub closed at 9. Close to restaurants & Gilroy Gardens. Would not stay here again. Especially for the price.

Cheap room but pretty run down...
Went to check in at 3:15, rooms werent ready. Stayed 2 nights, the pictures on Hotels.com are nothing like the current condition. The pool was green and heavily soiled with water deposits, had trouble with the key card system and breakfast was lacking. Staff ended up removing the pillow case from one of our own pillows we brought from home (why? they werent changing linens and the pillow was obviously not theirs by the color of the pillowcase..) Lots of homeless in the area further adding to the unsafe feeling of the hotel. As another guest yelled one night - "why does it smell like poop hear".

I am pleased to share that I got all I could wish to get, plus a very relaxing time inside a very cool room when the outside temperatures are extremely high, and breakfast which includes fruits, breads, cereals, yogurt, and waffles besides of course coffee. thanks to the staff.

Checked into my room late around 8pm and decided to check my surroundings from upstairs, looked down and witnessed some guy smoking what appeared to be some narcotic from a glass pipe. Waited until he left then checked out immediately. Very sad!
