The inside did not smell fresh or clean. Funny odor in hallway and room. Our bathroom door/door frame was rusty on the bottom and had chipping paint. There was no breakfast foods at all in the dining area. And around 6:30 AM Sunday morning the fire alarm went off and we all waited outside but the fire fighters did not have to put out any fire. The building was fine. Probably someone burned something in their microwave.

Red Roof Newburg is off-the-charts clean -- and well lit. What a pleasure to feel that everything had been attended to. Halls are wide, parking is easy. Room was just big enough. Liked the bedding. Coffee and tea available around the clock. Breakfast bag was minimal, but we didn't care. The only complaint was that the mattress squeaked. Definitely give this property a chance. Not fancy, but covers all the important bases.
