If you like to camp, you'll love this property!! The cabins are rustic and large. They're spotlessly clean! We stopped at a grocery store on our way there to get things for our dinner and while we were cooking it on the barbecue, we met many of the staff and had a wonderful time!!

Mt View Cabins was good for what we wanted. It’s a great location and the place is very rustic - but we knew it would be so was expecting this. The cabin was great, it’s was warm and the shower was nice and strong. It was pretty much self service and the staff weren’t going out of their way to interact with the visitors. All in all, it was pretty much what we expected it to be - a nice escape from being surrounded by people.

Great service from the staff. Quiet and clean. Rustic, outdoorsy and a great camping feel to the place. It turns out to be better than the reviews. Very affordable.

We knew when we booked that these were remote & rustic . Nice lookout area & trails. Very quirky areas to explore. Cabin was warm with private 3 piece bathroom and lots of hot water for the shower. You cannot park next to the cabin so had to haul everything in.The cabins were very dark especially with no light in the kitchen area. Difficult to play cards. Cannot drink the water so they provided 4 bottles of water. Beds were a bit hard but comfortable enough. No TV but they have movies that you can borrow. Did have wifi & cell service.😀 The cabins were more affordable than staying in a hotel in Golden so for one night we made it work. Staff were friendly.

Very lovely cabin. The viewpoint was amazing. Just be aware of the no A/C. Opening the windows was able to keep it cool in there. Would absolutely stay again!

Basic but well kept mountain cabins , clean , parking was tight , free dvd s to borrow at desk no internet but your on vacation so , decent all around for the money

The staff was fantastic. The room was reasonably clean. Dishes were questionably clean. We were shocked when we arrived to find that the water was not safe for drinking. Supposedly it just tested positive for a minuscule amount of e-coli. The property did provide an adequate amount of drinking water. Along that lines, They provide cookware but there were no knives for cutting, no cutting boards, no cooking utensils. You were expected to wash dishes in the bathroom sink. We hauled in our own safe water for washing dishes and heated it up in our electric kettle and used our own dish basins just like we were camping. The communal kitchen had a sink full of dirty dishes and a single burner hot plate for cooking. Think there was a burner attached to the propane grill but the state of the kitchen and the water situation turned us off. We resigned ourselves to cold meals we could easily prepare with few dishes required and used paper and plastic for eating. Don’t think we’ll be back.

Despite some limited amenities for an outdoor cabin; ompared to a hotel, the room was quite large. It had a unique design and lots of outdoor space with beautiful view of the sky. There were some trails in the mountains with a fire pit. We appreciated the kind and reliable staff service.
