The property is in a need to be totally renovated and it looked like some minor things were being done. For the price and since I stayed there for one night it was bearable.

My family had PRE-PAID reservations for 10-22-24 to 10-25-24. Due to circumstances, we tried to cancel, but could not. Therefore, we made another PRE-PAID reservation for 10-21-24 for a total of 5 days we were to stay there. We arrived on 10-21-24 at 7 pm, and were told that our reservation that we PRE-PAID, was cancelled and they had to use our existing reservation for that one day. We did not understand why this was cancelled, as it was PRE-PAID. The next day the front desk manager, told me that we had to make another reservation to remain on property for the remainder of the week. Huh??? These were PRE-PAID. Because of this terrible service, we decided to stay somewhere else. Besides that, the hotel room and floor was extremely cold. The bed was no more that 5 feet from the air conditioner/heater. We had to block the heat from the heater with the curtain, to prevent myself from cooking just to keep warm. Breakfast was terrible, no variety. Scramble eggs were cooked in pan where you could see brown dried up eggs along the side of the pan, indicating that they only use that one pan to cook and serve thru the breakfast period along with the serving spoon. Waffle toaster did not properly cook the waffles, as it was mushy/gooey on the inside, not crisp. I believe that I paid over 600 dollars for the 5 or so days that we were to be there. I understand that we were not going to be refunded. If you are trying to compete with Howard Johnsons, you win. Never again.
