Wish I had read some of the one star reviews before booking a room. Our room was in disrepair - crumbling plaster/walls in bathroom, a hole in the wall was plugged with what appeared to be toilet paper, only one outlet in the whole room worked, the shower was moldy with a cracked bottom, water sprayed in every direction making a shower nearly impossible, and the room has a strong/strange smell when we entered. All night long the air unit and the refrigerator would alternate cutting on and both were loud/squeaky and kept us up all night long. We checked in quickly and looked at our room and then went to dinner. We came back after the office was closed and checked out as early as possible. Would never, ever recommend staying in the motel rooms. If one of the cabooses had been available that might have been better? That’s all I can gather given the other reviews of this place, but it was far from quaint or enjoyable to stay.
All I can say that it had going for it was that it was cozy. It says that there was heat ha its a space heater that's to small for the space. We froze all night. Also if you are on the larger size pleas note that the toilet space is super small also you may not fit in the space. It was not worth the money that we spent to stay the night there. We will not be staying there again!
We stayed here several years ago and enjoyed it and decided to stay here again during this visit and we were not disappointed! Check in quick and smooth, staff friendly, room was clean. Would stay here again!
The bed needs to be donated and replaced
They need to fix the air leaks by the front door so the room wont get as cold as it did on us. Also they need to up grade their heater. Other than that was in good location love the park and the views
For only $50 what do you expect
Very cute historical place. It had everything we needed, microwave, fridge, table, plenty of towels, soap, shampoo and the service was excellent and friendly. However, it was sparse and undecorated. The lamp was so old it had a frayed plug and the chairs were so old they nearly fell through when we sat on them.

Very cute town and accommodations! Room was very cold upon arrival and took awhile to heat up. Otherwise no complaints and we enjoyed our stay!
It was super COLD I don’t know if they pre set the heating but our room as in the 60s all night it was HORRIBLE and couldn’t get sleep :/ room was not well cleaned and stains on the sheets definitely not going back .
The AC/heater.
On the wall did not work appropriately.
It was blasting when we checked in at 7 o'clock in the evening. The room was 51°. Mind you outside. It was only 50° quite cold. Thank God.
There was a little standalone heater fan which did help tremendously.
There was a hole in the door which you could see completely through stuffed with paper large hole in the wall behind the door where looks like someone slammed the door handle into the wall. Cracks throughout missing pain. T the worst part was the mold in the bathroom. The rooms have a joining doors. Which hours was open unlocked? No way to block it. My son had to run up to the office where they gave him a master key to lock it and then take the key back to return immediately...On the plus side, the outside was adorable. Look like you're staying in little cottages. Each section had 3 rooms with.
They're on the internet.

This is an old motor inn that actually reminded my husband of the motels he stayed in as a missionary in Belize. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room is fairly sparse - a bed, TV, table and straight back chair, and a small fridge and microwave. But we were not there to hang out in the room, so it was perfect for what we wanted.
The check in and out was refreshingly simple. She asked for my name and handed me a metal key on a key tag. Check out involved dropping the key in a box.
We would definitely stay here again.
