Clean but very Noisy

This was our second stay, (return trip from PEI) because it was clean we thought we would give it a second chance rather than cancel our reservation. Our complaint last time was the strong smell of Pinesol that would not disapate despite keeping the windows open all night and the resulting noise from the trucks on the nearby hill. The smell this time was not as strong and did disapate after keeping the window open for a while which allowed us to close the windows for the night. It was still not quiet, it was like trying to sleep next to a jet engine all night, even earplugs did not block the noise. We don't know where the noise was from (possibly the neighbouring a/c unit?) A good sleep was not possible. Will not stay there again.

Good restful stay after many hours of travel. Check in was easy, friendly and efficient. Quiet, comfortable room. The restaurant meals were delicious. We appreciated the included breakfast available from the menu selection.

Disappointing

Staff was friendly, room was clean but reeked of Pinesol to the point it would not disapate despite keeping the windows open all night. Caused headaches and burning eyes. With the windows open the noise from trucks coming by on the road was extremely loud. Internet did not work at night but somehow worked fine in the morning. Dinner at the onsite restaurant was a disaster, it took over an hour to get our meals, the pork chops were 1/8" thick, overcooked to the consistancy of shoe leather, the kitchen ran out of vegetables that were suppose to come with the meal. Very disappointing stay.
