Property is dated and could use an upgrade. Stood in line for a long while to check in despite there being two clerks. No communication to explain the delay. The beds were made, but the bathroom wasn’t stocked with the expected amenities.

To pay 200 dollars to stay in a room that smelled like dog piss and had no USB ports and limited channels was stupid. Coffee in lobby was water. Staff was nice and it was an easy check in but I have stayed in much better places for under $100

Frustrated that once I had gotten comfortable and changed for bed, I realized I hadn’t unloaded my travel cooler only to find out the refrigerator was missing from my room. I called the front desk and she mentioned knowing of a problem with it, and offered to change me room. I was already undressed, and didn’t want to pack up and move that late in the evening. If they knew of the problem, why did they book that room? I feel they owe me a partial refund.

Hotel is pet friendly which is why I originally chose, but never again. Will have to find alternative arrangements. Our room was unclean in general, but on last day of stay opened curtain in morning to find active sprouting black mold in several areas. I’ve stayed in plenty of bargain inns in my life with questionable cleanliness, but not ONCE have I had active black mold in my room. Tried to resolve with front desk by asking for a reasonable request to get pet fee charge removed, was told by front desk they were “not authorized” to handle my issue. When asked for manager, was told they “can’t reach him” and “don’t know when he will be in” because he is away “on business.” I know I’ll never hear from anyone to get issue resolved. No apologies either and I know they will flip right around and rent that to someone else without cleaning the issue. Room is also not that much cheaper from similar other accommodations in area. Best thing was scalding hot water , otherwise best stay away unless you like to gamble with your health.

Check in was good, friendly and kind. Our room was comfortable and roomy. Unfortunately there was a dig next door that greeted us frequently with barking. When we mentioned it to the front desk, they said they were checking out the next day but they were there the whole r days we were. I might suggest putting a waste basket in the bathroom as well as the bedroom. Breakfast was ok but there was no toaster. I don't think we will stay at La Quinta in Greenville again.

Old and tired
This place is old and worn out. The room was way below average. The carpet was sticky. the black out drapes were falling down and one was missing all together. The dogs had a big stain on the cushion. The bed was great tho. There was a dbl spotlight right out our window and shined right in the room. The remote was missing, I called the front desk to get one sent to the room. They never brought it. The elevator was out of service sat nite. I give this place a 4 outa 10.
