We stayed two different times in 2 different rooms in the last week. The second stay was in a room with a patio with a river view and the room was spacious and the view was great. However, both rooms smelled musty, were damp, the carpet was sticky, and the bathrooms stunk. Also, there was a dead frog floating in the hot tub. If I had to guess, the property is under new ownership and they're squeaking out some end-of-season revenue hopefully before a major remodel- it needs it. The front desk and bar-staff were friendly and service was great. The property itself is in a beautiful and convenient location.

Nice building with GREAT POTENTIAL First might ordered at the restaurant, called at 8:55 no one answered. So I walked down and was told ...sorry we are closed. I asked when do you close (not posted ANYWHERE) he said 9:00 I said what time is it ? the guy behind said 9:01 He did ask the kitchen and they did give us an order MY french dip was a bit of beef and onion on a hot dog bun (15.00) My wife happy e got food at all. in the morning no hot water. I asked the desk and she said " ya we just had a 100 people check out and they used it all " What she did'nt say is ""sorry", ""What can I do to help" Just gave me a bill for $289 We had booked another stay in a different room, the phone didnt work and we had no TV But we did have hot water, the place was almost empty. I found out they servved breakfast. MY FAVORITE...hash browns and eggs We ordered and the waiter brought me someting that resembled coconut browned in a pan, half of the mass was cold and half was warmish.No oil The eggs I ordered soft were 1/2 hard I am not sure what the hashbrowns were made of ....maybe plastic ? Also, He forgot the toast, and didn't come back till we were done. After we told him he forgot it, he brought it after we asked and yes , you guessed it, it was charcol on both sides but we had hot water in the morning No one asked us ho the food was, we just paid and left. At check out also no one asked us how the stay was , just another $238 bill We wont be back. they just dont care

We love this resort! We stay here once a year - Beautiful view and nice Tiki Bar with live music. Excellent restaurant and great service!...Great walking/biking paths!

I was excited to try this place as it looked beautiful, but the rooms are dated. Wallpaper falling off the walls etc. it was clean which is the main thing. I waited 15 minutes to check in as no one was there and when someone did come back there was no apology, and customer service was terrible. Beautiful surroundings but that is really it. I was disappointed

Kids behind front desk at check in….told Lady I had a service dog and was charged a fee(probably distracted) Room was filthy including wet carpet from cleaning when we arrived at 10pm. Needs touch up paint bad! Sheets felt like sand paper
