Older Super 8 that was being remolded and had rooms fairly completely done; also with a pool.Convenient to nearby shopping and food options. Rather poor, minimal breakfast of a few sparse, cold items and nothing hot.

Slum Motel
The rooms are supposed to be smoke-free. The first room that I checked into smelled like heavy cigarette smoke. When I went to change rooms, the clerk stated that many people smoke there, regardless of the rules. I was given another room that did not fare much better. The microwave did not work, and people smoked weed on the balcony.

The hotel room was disgusting. Smelled like musky smoke. It was damp. The walls had markings everywhere. The corners were dirty. The bedding and towels were clean, but that’s about it. There is a chair in the room that has mold growing on the side of it. Like something Was built on it and never cleaned up and never noticed and now has grown mold. Room was gross.

Booked a 2 bed room for 4 people, they tried to give us a 1 bed room for 2 people and said that they didn't make mistakes, even though we had a confirmation saying what we had booked. Breakfast was discontinued due to ownership change. Room was okay but the exterior was very rundown.

I'm not picky. I am usually happy to get in and out of a cheap motel quickly and alive. But this time I paid attention to the overall rating because I was stuck in town for longer than I wanted and I was hoping for some comfort. I feel cheated by the deceptively high rating. People have different tastes, but there is no one on the planet who would honestly rate this sad motel in poor condition as "good" or better.
