I enjoyed my stay here! I would return! The staff is friendly, the grounds are beautiful, and the food was great. Easy to get a taxi to anywhere you’d like to go. I love that they have shuttles too and from your room whenever you call. The resort is on a hill so it definitely saves your legs! The views from the beach are incredible. The population of guests are on average 55 and up would be my guess. Not a party scene but still definitely well worth the visit. Live music at dinner and the drinks keep coming while lounging on the beach. 90 minute drive from VUF airport. Typically $100 USD one way which is pricy. Shop around for cheaper options.

We had a wonderful time at the Windjammer. The resort is beautiful as was our villa. The staff were friendly and accommodating, from the waiters and waitresses to the shuttle drivers. A special shout out to Cora at the beach bar (96 degrees)! She is everything you want in a bartender. She remembered what we were drinking and what villa # we were in. Not a small feat with the amount of people she was servicing. My wife had a massage and she said it was one of the best she has ever had. I believe the masseuse’s name was Shana. If we have to find fault it would be on the activities. Not the staff but the promotion of the activities and the length of them. They had a Caribbean Night dinner that we happened to stumble upon. No one we talked to later in the evening had any idea it was being held. Glad we happened upon it because it had some really good food! Overall would recommend and would definitely go back!

I loved interacting with the staff. They were all very friendly and seemed eager to please. The villa I was in was old but well maintained and charming with an awesome view of the Ocean and gorgeous sunsets. I enjoyed the whole dining experience from the set tables, awesome food to the live music being played throughout dinner. Thanks to all the staff.

I enjoyed my stay at the resort. The staff was as accommodating as they could be. The food was fine, although at the end it seemed as the food options were the same every day although I was told that it changes every day. The weather was wonderful despite the occasional rain. The only downfall was the Piton hike I chose. I asked the excursion kiosk agent, Kizzi how was it. She told me that she did it and I "can do it". I like to hike and did it in multiple places in the past. The hike turned out to be very difficult and strenuous. I had more than recommended amount of water with me (2.4L). I was able to get to the top of the trail/mountain but half way going down I needed help to get to the starting point due to heat and exhaustion. My guide told me that some people don’t make it to the top and she mentioned about rare deaths the occurred on the trail. She said that people coming to the hike not aware about the difficulty level of the the trail as this is more of a rock climbing than hiking and the agents that sell it at the resort don’t make it clear for the people how difficult it is. I needed to recover as I strained my Achilles tendon as well and cancelled the other tours. Choose wisely.

The resort wasn’t horrible, it was just okay. The resort could use some upgrading. Majority of the staff was friendly however I did encounter 2 very unfriendly female staff members. Tyrell was one of the front desk staff members who was very excellent, professional and helpful. The food was good. Overall my stay was okay however I would not return or recommend.

The peace and quietness of my one night stay was good for me. I didn't like the surprised wetting of my feet when I woke up during the night to go to the BR, from the pool of water from the rains coming in under the entry door. I could have fallen. This is a no-no. Otherwise everything else was great.

Windjammer is a great resort and the staff are making sure you are taking care of and they make you feel at home. Only thing that we wasn't so happy about was that they were remodeling the main pool, but they sent us an email before our trip and said the pool should open the day we arrived but that never happened, so hopefully next time we come back it will be open and done.

Nice resort although the unit I was in was outdated. Renovations were in process during my stay so a few of the pool/bar areas weren't available. Also the resort lost power on my last night which was a little frightening for a solo traveler.

Great Hotel, lovely villas, beach is safe and well groomed. A good number of eating options. Attentive staff. Only comment, advice would be to book all your dinning as soon as you arrive (or before hand) as getting tables early with kids on busy weeks is difficult. The Thursday Buffet was a hit with the kids and I would suggest to the hotel to offer a kids dinner buffet more nights. But that is the only downside of an amazing week at Windjammer. The staff, hotel and food are great. If you are looking for an easy family resort, there are few places to beat this.

The 5* hotel experience was amazing. Staff were very friendly and catered to our every need from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Upon arrival we were offered cool towels to clean our hands, and lovely welcome drinks. The hotel has different dining options, all of the restaurants, offered 5* service with the staff catering to our needs, the staff were very approachable and came to ask if everything was ok and were quick to provide us with anything we asked for. Almost all of the food was very nice and full of flavour, cooked to perfection. The water sports were really fun and the staff organising it were very friendly and encouraging. The staff always put safety first. Thank you Gordon and team for encouraging me to participate and making my husband and I have an excellent experience with the water sports. As most of the rooms are up steep hills, the shuttle service was an excellent idea and always quiet prompt. The Hotel beach was very clean snd well catered for also offering an all inclusive service by bringing drinks to you at your sun lounger. The Spa was also very nice. I received a lovely massage and the facilities were very clean. During our stay we had an issue with our room and this was immediately resolved, by upgrading us to a better room with a better view. Overall we had a wonderful time at the Windjammer resort and would love to visit again.

Dear Guest Relations, I hope this message finds you well. I recently had the opportunity to stay at Windjammer Resort with my family for six nights at while we were looking forward to a relaxing vacation, I feel compelled to share our experiences regarding an issue we encountered during our stay. Unfortunately, we faced instances of racism that significantly affected our enjoyment and comfort at the resort. Me and my child were celebrating our birthdays and we will always have these memories attached to our birthdays. Me and my family are traumatized by these experiences which was surprising and disappointing, especially considering the reputation of Windjammer as a welcoming destination. Thank you to the servers who made me feel seen; Vernel, Keenan, and two other young ladies I wish I had their names. A manager name Mary did her best to assist me but I was leaving. In response to our concerns, we were issued a $100 credit, which felt inadequate considering the overall cost of our stay and the impact these experiences had on our vacation. We expected more meaningful support in light of what we encountered. I believe in the importance of open communication and hope that sharing our experiences will contribute to positive changes at the resort.
