Guests are advised to check local weather and road conditions/closures with the California Department of Transportation before travel.

The biggest issue was how remote this place is. Guests are 100% reliant on what is offered at the resort. The lack of TV and the remoteness of the place would be the biggest contributors to my family not returning. The refrigerator in the room froze the fruit we brought with us and there was no microwave in the room so if you bought something from the General Store to eat, you had to cook it in the microwave in the store. I think the resort is good for people that are ok driving 40 miles to the nearest town and want to get away. For families like mine, it wasn’t ideal.

It is in middle of forest. One feel connected with nature. Plenty of parking space. Very comfortable bed. Unfortunately our coffee machine was not working. A bit pricey.

Long way off of the main road but still nice.
long way off of the main road..5 miles I think. And, the road is not the best... I almost turned around... Once we arrived, our stay was great. very quiet. place was clean.

The location is beautiful. I had not slept in a tent in over 30 years. The air mattress was fine probably better than the cots we were expecting. The pool area is very nice. The only issue is that there was a wedding ( sounded like a lot of fun) but it went until 10:00 and that was not what I was expecting for a quiet camping experience!!

Stayed in the tent, was very comfortable, fresh towels and pillow cases provided. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Daily activities available. This was a short stay on a road trip and was so relaxing and calm. Had access to both the heated and non heated pool. Coffee from the local shop on site was great and good price.
