Amazing View and Cool Beach Vibe

Relax in this 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with an amazing Gulf view. Summer Wind is so close to the beach you'll never miss a sunset or sunrise on the water! Nicely remodeled and offered for rent for the first time during the summer of 2019 (that's why no reviews yet), it features a full kitchen, wet bar, smart t.v., master suite with private bath and more. The resort offers a large indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room, six outdoor pools, lighted tennis, basketball, shuffleboard and horse shoes.

If you're looking for a beach vacation without the crowds you've found your spot. The land for nearly a mile to our east is in a conservation trust and the only access to the virgin beach is from our resort or our sister resort a mile east. The land to the west is occupied by multi-million dollar private beach homes anchored by the Governor's beach mansion a few hundred yards west. Never a crowd, with 24/7 gated security you'll feel like you have the beach to yourself. You can drive into the tourist shops and mini golf just 15 minutes away near the public beaches and escape back to your very own private retreat. Our friends take care of our condo and they live just down the beach if you need anything during your stay. ATTENTION SNOWBIRDS: Ask about our special unpublished rates for the first two weeks of March 2021.

Wonderful! Exactly as described!! Fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful time at this location. It was our first VRBO rental and it was so easy. I had a couple of questions throughout the stay and texted the host and got immediate responses. The room was exactly as described in the ad. Our kids are 17,14, and 12. The proximity to the beach was amazing! In addition there are like 6 different swimming pools. The room had everything we needed. The view from the balcony was great! And being on the second floor was perfect bc it gave a great view with only one flight of stairs. We would 1000% stay here again!

Amazing Vacation

This was our first family vacay to the beach and it was Amazing! This unit was Perfect for our family of 4, the teenagers had thier own space! Everything we needed was provided and the location was Great! Short walk to the pools and the boardwalks to the beach!! We WILL be back again!!

Thos pir second boat to Plantation Property. The unit was as described and had everything we needed. Nice boew from balcony. We had 3 staying, may have been a little small of we had 6. The property and pools are great, beaches are beautiful. Would Def stay here again.

LOVE LOVE LOVE if I could give 1000 stars I would! This place was AWESOME! Great views, very quiet area with no “party animals”. Family oriented and great amenities available. Loved the ice vending machine! The room was very updated and clean. Loved the island bar in the kitchen, and the stand up shower in the guest bathroom. We will definitely be back!

Fun Family Vacation

Our family loved our stay! The owners were quick to respond with some things we noticed early on in our trip, but weren’t hindering our stay. They let know that these things are being fixed in the near future. GSP is a wonderful family friendly location with numerous amenities. Being on the second floor and within walking distance to Sassy Bass was a huge plus for our family with 3 kids. The view from the condo was beautiful and the space was the perfect size for us. We absolutely loved the long shoreline at the beach here. It was perfect for putting your chair by the water and watching the kiddos play without worrying about them getting too far out. My 8 year old recommends going to Tropic Falls (amusement & water park) at OWA in Foley. My 6 year old recommends competing in the beach games at Tacky Jacks in Gulf Shores- kids that compete get a free lunch, and he actually got first place so he’s pretty excited about that. My husband recommends taking the Mobile Bay Ferry to the Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab- it’s small, but so fun & the ferry is a neat experience. My 1 year old would recommend the 1 in. shallow area of the pool & sitting in mom’s lap by the ocean while the waves rush over your toes! I recommend eating at Picnic Beach across from the Hangout. This was our first time going there and it was my favorite meal on the whole trip- it was so good & fresh! Overall, we had a wonderful vacation & would definitely choose to stay here again in the future!

Beautiful clean condo

The location could be a pro or con - Fort Morgan is about 10 miles from gulf shores, which is a bit annoying for going out to eat or shopping, but nice because less crowded. Definitely don’t plan on going out to eat three times a day. Pros - very close to multiple pools and the beach access; lots of beach supplies in condo available to use; well stocked kitchen; good communication from host; room was available early Cons - the queen size bed is terribly uncomfortable; cleaning service could do a better job; fairly small condo with very small balcony

Away from the bustle

This unit was better than the pics in the listing. Very clean and well-maintained. Comfortable beds, good water pressure, and kitchen is stocked nicely for cooking. The location is close to an outdoor pool and the boardwalk to the beach is next to the pool. Gulf Shores Plantation is large but is very quiet and away from all the traffic and noise in Gulf Shores proper. The only negatives are washer and dryer not in the units but they are on the same floor and no trash chutes. These were minor inconveniences compared to the overall niceness, location, and value of this condo. Highly recommended

Wonderful stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location was exactly as described. There was more than enough to use in the kitchen. The laundry room was right down the hall and even took debit cards. Sassy Bass was right next door and was delicious. They even have a walk up bar you can walk over to get drinks at. There were nice beach chairs and a beach umbrella to use and plenty of beach toys to choose from. There was even a great selection of games and books. There was plenty of space for our family of 4. We will definitely be back!

Nice Beach Location

This place was great. View of the beach is as advertised. Multiple pools at the location were great! Especially the indoor one on chilly days. Condo was clean and comfortable to stay in. Our 3 kids ages 5 to 8 shared the king bed andy wife and I slept on the queen. Overall a very good stay.

Nice area. We enjoyed having the Sassy Bass so conveniently located for meals. The beach was nice. The only issue we had was the WiFi.. the owner only responded the one time and then we never heard from him again.

Nice Place

Beds were very comfortable and the water pressure was good and hot each day. View was just as the picture showed. Any questions we had the owner responded in a timely manner and willing to correct anything. Overall enjoyed our visit and consider staying again.
