Very good

cottage was very dated. storm door required banging to close each and every time there was a nasty stain at fireplace hearth. poor lighting , not enough outlets
The plumbing wasn’t done properly so we had to listen to gurgling in the drains our whole stay, the bathroom had someone else’s hair in is, the room was dusty, we were beside the extremely loud elevator so another loud noise to listen to the whole stay. Not overly impressed.
I was on business; the Expedia booking clearly says that if you pay at the property, the property issues the receipt (and that has been my experience elsewhere). On check out, the counter attendant flatly refused to do so, saying "it'll be issued by Expedia." No big deal if it's a personal expense, but this wasn't. Also, no workspace in the room and cannot fully control aircon. Too bad as Digby is beautiful and one of my favourite business trips.

The location is perfect and the property of the Pines is beautiful. It does require upgrading to the building and rooms, especially the bathrooms and TVs in the hotel. The breakfast buffet was disappointing. Maybe ordering from the menu would he better. The pool needs new furniture and more loungers. Overall we had a lovely stay, the older style has character, the pool was clean and warm with plenty of towels, a sauna and washrooms with showers. Reception, pool, housekeeping, cafe and restaurant staff were all excellent.
This is a beautiful spot, a little dated and rooms could use some upgrading. The first room we checked into wasn’t cleaned & also wasn’t the room type we paid for. We had to wait in the long line to get a different room, which was closer to the room type we paid for but still no balcony. We were able to check in early which was appreciated for sure. Would stay again because it is so pretty and has great views.
Absolutely no rooms available before 4. Silly. Some rooms must have been cleaned earlier. Coffee machine missing in our room. Had to order a machine to the room.

Nice hotel around Digby. Hotel reminds me of “dirty dancing” location. It had an old world charm.
Short drive to town where lots of restaurant can be tried. Hotel also has a nice view of the bay in the drinks area. Hotel provided nice toiletries, but could add body lotion to offering.
We had a great stay at Digby Pines. We were only there for 2 nights and thus weren't able to take advantage of the pool, fitness center and grounds but we did golf. Everyone at the resort is extremely friendly & helpful. The common areas are lovely and our room was fine - very clean although the bathroom is very small/tight. Overall a wonderful stay!
We had booked 2 nights, but only stayed one as we were very disappointed with the room accommodation.
There were large stains in the carpet, there was no refrigerator or microwave.
It was a very low rate accommodation for being a resort that charges how much they fo
It’s a must stop, the only issue was our room not being ready until 5:30.
We returned from town after dinner and they closed the bar early. The staff graciously opened it back up for us with smiles and made the experience great.
This place is very impressive. Easy check in, lots of parking. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was very nice, view of the bay and a very comfortable bed. Highly recommend. A 3min drive off the St John ferry.

I would come back- loved its unique and authentic condition…just needs a little icing on the cake
1. Furniture placement and arrangement in public areas,
2. Landscape focus at entry- neglected how sad…
3. Work on first impressions at hotel entry and public area
Location was great, staff were very helpful and friendly, pool was huge and heated, spa was convenient and massages were very welcome after a long drive. The food was very good also. The bed was comfortable although the room was rather small. The only complaint I have is the resort is not really built for people with mobility issues. There is an elevator but no ramps. Those with issues are expected to take a sidewalk around to the back and go in through a door there. I did see a push button on the inside but must have missed the one on the outside to open the door.
