The Hotel staff are all very nice, from the cleaning ladies to the Manager both friendly and polite, however, they do not speak a lot of English other than the manager who speaks perfect English. The Hotel is more for French holiday makers. The rooms were basic but clean. It was as if the hotel was a little tired. The FOOD at this hotel was excellent. Having stayed in Tunisia over 20 times I have never tasted such good hotel food.
I would advise anyone visiting Tunisia not to go for the two weeks which contain 20th March, as this is independence dar and a fortnights holiday for all Tunisians. Whilst we were there we had 500 Tunisian holiday makers arrive for a long weekend on the 25th March they left on the following Sunday, on Tuesday another 200 arrived for a two day stay. It was not a very restful stay as a lot of children and babies were amongst the visitors, they tended to run around and shout a lot and used the lifts as a play area! Not a lot of dicipline amongst the youngsters I am afraid. Nobody could get in the indoor pool as it was full to the brim! But, everything else was fine. If I knew a little more French I would stay there again.
