The receptionists were extremely helpful and friendly, and strove to provide whatever services they could offer.
However, there were some major oversights that marred the overall experience. On the final day (2 hours before check-out time was due), the electricity supply of our room was suddenly cut off by the hotel. To our bewilderment, the customer services told us that the room cards had been deactivated. It was 'almost' as if we were being ushered out. Frankly, you would expect a higher standard of general courtesy from a supposedly 4-star hotel.
Additionally, the room's facilities felt highly outdated - with an overly small room to match.
Thirdly, the check-out bill calculated at the end of the stay turned out to be incorrect. No apology had been issued for such an elementary mistake.
