For a first time visitor to Waikiki, this is a very convenient location, we purchased Holo card and used the TheBus system frequently because there are bus stops outside of Holiday Inn Express Waikiki. We could catch bus to the airport, to the Diamond Hill, to Pearl Harbour, to Bishop Museum etc. And the breakfast is plenty for everyone. We love it.

The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The parking unfortunately is something left to be desired. If you don’t get back to the hotel before 4pm….you will highly likely not find any parking.

Nice location but bathroom was quite dirty, understocked with the usual toiletries, with mold in the shower and stains on floor. Bed was very good and breakfast was a little better than expected. The clean pool and large hot tub were surprisingly nice and staff was friendly.

Overall, staff was very nice and mostly helpful. They wouldn’t add my loyalty number because I booked through a third party (I’ve never had this issue in the past). Parking was $47/night and a few nights we had to park blocks away because it was full. Parking spaces are very small. We rented a mid-size SUV and had to climb to the passenger side to get out. Room was TINY…photos of rooms are very strategic and deceptive. Breakfast was ok, pretty basic and nothing special. A/C unit was very loud, even on low. Elevators are really slow and often full. Many times we had to ride to a higher floor just so there would be enough room (and we are NOT large people). Location was nice. We were able to walk most places in the Waikiki area, including the beach.

Property is ok. Staff are friendly the breakfast buffet not likely while taking showers the water build up so quickly so the tub was over flowing of water while showering. To park on the property have to pay $47 a day and it’s not even guaranteed if you find a spot. So we luckily found a park outside. Overall this I rate this property 3.5

Everything was great about this property except that the rooms are very, very small. There is not enough space in the room to have other guests join you for a while. There was only one chair and the bed. There was no public meeting space either. The breakfast was good and they offered different things on different days. Parking was tough as there are not nearly enough parking spaces for the number of rooms in the hotel.
