Overall satisfied with the property. Minor concern with water temperature being inconsistent (water would change from to cold while showering, but could be piping or water heater pressure). Our shower door wasn’t closing all the way so I had to kind of hold it shut. No major concerns. Customer service was very good.

The room that we had did not have any windows. Before we even got to the room, the very kind receptionist said they had a nicer upgraded room at their sister hotel 3 minute walk away. This was very thoughtful. We ended up staying at GM premium and the rooftop restaurant had greats views, fun music, and the food we ordered was some of the best we had throughout the city-I’m Vietnamese and was impressed.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Hien is super helpful she booked our day trip at Incense Village, Tam Coc, Hoa Lu in Ninh Binh. She’s always checking on us and make sure everything we need she can provide with her best knowledge. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staff provide excellent service and are very attentive to guests’ needs. They are eager to make everyone’s visit a memorable one. We felt like it was home away from home. Rooms are very comfortable. Food at Viet Restaurant is very good. Location is in close proximity to tourist sites, restaurants, cafes, and shopping.

This property was lovely. The staff was very accommodating of our late checkin as well as needing to hold some of our luggage while traveling to Sapa. They even went out of their way to add a night due to the typhoon coming in and then helped us arrange transportation when our flights out were changed. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. I don’t have any pictures to add but all I can say is that the photos already online are accurate and the property is beautiful. We will definitely want to stay here again if we’re ever lucky enough to visit Hanoi again.

Wow - this was our favorite hotel of the 4 we stayed at while traveling through Vietnam! The hotel is beautiful and in a perfect walkable location in the Old Quarter. But what makes this hotel truly amazing is the team that works here - from the front desk/reception to housekeeping to the restaurant/bar, everyone was so kind, friendly, helpful, and genuine. Thom and Dave from the front desk/reception were impeccable! Always making sure we were taken care of, remembering so many details, and always giving us the best recommendations making our time in Hanoi so memorable. We will absolutely be back :)

Beautiful hotel in very central location. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The hotel is very clean and in excellent condition. The staff member are super friendly. Even though the location in right in the middle of the Old Quarter, our hotel room is very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend this hotel!

The JM Marvel is such a beautiful place to come into from the busy Hanoi streets. You are greeted and treated like family. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable and quiet. Lovely breakfast with many choices and access to the pool at a neighbouring hotel. This hotel is a gem!! 10/10
