We really enjoyed our 3-night stay! This place is only a 30-minute metro ride from the center of Oslo, yet we felt as if we were in a national park. The atmosphere here is incredible. You're in the middle of the forest, looking down on the city of Oslo and Oslo Fjord.
The property is clean and comfortable. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is extensive; there's something for everyone with an array of good choices: yogurt with a zillion toppings, cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes, waffles ...
Our room was sparsely furnished but had almost everything we needed -- I say "almost" because if I could change one thing, it would be that we would have had an extra place or two to set things down -- an extra little table or a ledge or even a couple of hooks on the walls. And if that's the worst thing I can say about this place, we did just fine! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
