The hotel itself is weird, a mix of two parts… the downstairs/reception and dinner is EXCELLENT and looks 4/5 star. The food was completely outstanding, with the staff talking you through the menu, wine options, menu options - and as we were staying we were offered a set menu price cheaper as guests.
Breakfast was great, very European, lovely staff, good service.
But then when you go upstairs into the rooms it’s like a different hotel. The room itself is in need of a total update. The bathroom and all appliance are very dated and aged. To open the mini bar you had to use your room key, I had a choice of having my tv or the fridge plugged in at once… and the furniture was very uncomfortable.
However, that all being said, rooms were spotless, freshly cleaned, had working aircon, good sized wardrobe and plugs/lighting.
