Vacation totally wasted
We booked a two-night stay and were excited for a last summer getaway. We had planned and reserved this hotel a month in advance, but our experience quickly turned into a nightmare the moment we checked in. My kids were terrified by water dripping from the bathroom ceiling onto their heads. I immediately reported the issue to the front desk, and to my dismay, they admitted they were aware of the problem but still placed us in the leaking room. The water continued dripping day and night, resulting in a sleepless stay. Although the front desk staff apologized and offered credits per night due to the lack of available rooms to switch to, this promise was not honored. Upon checking out, we received no such credit. This experience was deeply disappointing.

The property is good in the lobby but the rooms are not that clean a lot of spider web in the hallway which my daughter scared of needs repair and renovation so it will attract more people .carpet on the top Has lots of stains

Even though this hotel has seen better days the sheets were super clean and the staff very friendly. And the room was very cool on a very hot day. Close to the lake and shopping and restaurants.

We stayed for 2 nights. First night experience was beyond terrible. It was so hot and AC in the room was not working. We couldnt slee until 4 am. We had to open the refrigerator and put kids next to it on the floor to make them feel even a bit comfortable, as the entire room was beyond hot. Since hotel was fully booked they couldnt get us another room. Second night they shifted us to a better room which was decent except the toilet wouldnt flush, so not that great but overall way better than first night.

Fairly good value for money considering it is in a tourist town. The rooms are large, but could do with a refresh/bring up to date. There was a few odd stains on the carpet; overall fairly clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect as it is kitty corner and across from the public hot springs pool, the mall, several restaurants and pubs, and 2 min walk to the waterfront.
