Awesome! But make sure you make reservations in new (east) wing. It's a bit more pricy, but upgrade definitely worth it. Besides that really enjoyed the stay.

Very family friendly hotel especially for a summer vacation. My nieces love the pool, spring and hot tubs! Rooms are clean and spacious. Location is very central. Walkable to other places of interests and restaurants

Positives - Very special to swim outdoors in picturesque hot pools. Area and grounds beautiful and peaceful to walk around. Down sides - Staff friendly but not enough to actually meet the needs of volume of guests. The Hotel has no upgrades to rooms, food or services over the last 20 years, infact things continue to go downhill. 40 min wait to check in, unable to get breakfast as would be over 20 min wait and only one option. No room services, could not get a drink to go to room - had our children so difficult to wait in restaurant bar for these services. Only one elevator working and waited for 20 min just to get up and down. Had our luggage and small children so stairs were not great option. Every stay is similar, it is never excellent. It would be easy to fix the issues with some good management and to put some profit back into the Hotel. (the rooms are not cheap, price does not reflect the state of Hotel/services) This Hotel could be 5 star if they put any effort to improve, unfortunately this has not been done for 20 years . We have been going for this long as the hot tubs are wonderful to experience and nostalgic. It would be so wonderful to see some improvement or owners who would put some pride into building, service of this potentially amazing spot.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was very relaxing! I love the fact they offer the copper room dining. It’s a special treat for a date night. Treat yourself to a spa treatment and take advantage of all this historical resort has to offer.
