We enjoyed the spa and treatment. It is all refreshing, although you cannot always get a lounger. Ask for a quiet room away from wedding parties. The manegement were excellent at resolving this for us and moved us for the second night. Staff were excellent, profesdional and friendly. I would go back again.

A bit hit and miss.
The hotel looks very good with a pleasant ambience. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and atractive. The bedroom could have done with a main light. The bathroom was roomy with a decent shower/bath. Good spaces to put tiletries but no beakers for use in the bathroom. The service here was not always consistent. The dining room was spacious but service was a bit hit and miss and I think some slight reorganisation of functions here should be considered as also the layout for breakfast. I noticed that some guests got fed-up waiting to be checked in and simply went off to get their breakfasts and find a place. A pity you cannot get bar snacks after 5.30 pm. However all the staff were very pleasant and more staff are needed at the reception desk for busy checking in times.

Beautiful from the outside - very disappointing on the inside. We had a superior King room. The AC did not work - we spoke to a manager who sent someone to come fix it who said it was working but it was still only giving out warm air. Our shower knob was broken and fell off the wall every time it was touched. Our room was cleaned but then all the rubbish was left on a shelf in a cupboard and cleaning materials (sprays etc) left in the bathroom. Vegetarian options at breakfast were only available on one morning of our stay. Would not recommend and definitely wouldn't stay again

Overall things were good staff &room however on our first night in the main restaurant we ordered food at 8.15pm we asked for bread with garlic butter informed they didn’t have any garlic butter but offered alternative however nothing arrived till 9.30 at our table even guest sitting next to us couldn’t believe how long we had waited during that time no one came and offered any explanation why and when the food did arrive it was disappointing it was only warm and portion very small compared to what we had seen other customers had we did get complimentary drink each we then ordered coffee at the end meal it took 15/20mins before it arrived and again not very hot our next night meal at the claret jug we again were given table no one came to take order for drinks or food I went to the bar they took order for drinks and then 10/15 mins when someone came and took our order and it was ok we ordered coffee and got that pretty much strait away. We have stayed at the hotel a few times before and haven’t had these problems however we think the menue options have decreased overall the stay was ok at check out we weren’t asked how our stay had been so thought would add this

We arrive half hour before check-in and the room was not available. We went to check in after 3pm and the room was still not ready, I had a very active 4 year old and a 14 year old with disabilities both very keen to go swimming, so asked them to call me when we could check in, we did not receive a call so went to reception at 4.30 pm and was given the room key. I did have a brief word with the duty manager as I felt that the delay should not have happened, who apologised. The hotel were given the children's ages at booking therefore the room allocation should have been prioritised. Once settled we enjoyed the rest of our stay and the food was outstanding.

Good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food. Lovely terrace outside bar area. Good well managed pool area. Clean room and problem with shower was dealt with quickly and efficiently. No safe designated footpath from hotel to car park. Long wait at breakfast for freshly cooked eggs and those precooked were over cooked. No reading lights by bed. Inconsistent replenishment of room supplies. Enjoyable stay but not quite 4star standard as expected for the price
