It was overall a great stay. The room was a bit worn down, but renovations are ongoing. Renovations caused a bit of noise but all within acceptable limits. Very comfortable bed and nicely sized room.

Lovely hotel - I would definitely stay again. My room was clean comfy and spacious. Location was great and staff nice. The only issue I had is that the gym is in the basement and there’s a mold or sewage odor down there.

refurbishment was being carried out . this fact was not mentioned in the website through which we booked. No bar facilities were available. After 9Am the noise levels went up due to the construction work.

Location was great and bed very comfortable. I did not consider the room to be deluxe as advertised. It was small, and the bathroom was dated. In fact, the entire hotel is dated. It was under renovation during our stay, so no restaurant or bar. The room rate of $400 was excessive under these conditions.

$375 per night for a hotel that's under construction with the entire lobby shut, gym shut and restaurant shut is unacceptable. While the hotel had a notice about this on its website there was no mention of the construction and closures on Expedia when I booked the room.

Unfortunately we hadn't been notified of the ongoing construction work taking place in the hotel, meaning it was partly boarded up, at least one floor and part of the lobby was closed and it was quite noisy during the day. The house keeping was also a little erratic, on one day no towels were left and at no time was any replacement coffee left in the room. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the location was good for what we wanted.

Although we had heard that this was originally a large Copenhagen department store and was converted into a hotel some years ago, we didn’t realize that the hotel was under construction and doing a complete renovation. We thought the location was great, but the facility was barely adequate.

Hotel is so well located for the city . But contrary to Hotels.com listing as it doesn’t mention it is that the hotel has changed hands and is being bought by an American private equity group which owns One Hotel group . So when we arrived the builders have moved in drilling and knocking the place about . The hotel is being revamped and will shut in November 2024 . Does the US websites tell us this ?? There’s no restaurant and only available for breakfast . That said our room was clean and tidy but what does all that matter as the hotel is being renamed , gutted and prices will triple in line with the new owners policy around the world . Was £200 soon to £600 .

Location is great with walking distance to all attractions and station. The pillows are very good but the mattress had previous people's impression in it. I would not recommend this hotel. I stayed for 6 nights and had no hot water every morning (through the day and evening was fine). I mentioned to reception and all she advised was that no else had complained and did not care or offer a solution or apology. I had to run the shower and basin for 30 minutes just to get some warm water to shower. I overheard another couple with the same issue at breakfast. There is extensive renovations being carried out on all floors except for 2. There was jack hammering through breakfast (8.22am). None of this was conveyed at booking stage or check in. The dining staff where extremely helpful however the hot food was cold even at opening time (6.30am). i would leave at 7am each day and when i would return late afternoon my room was still not cleaned as 'other rooms have a higher priority'. I think there must be better hotels around. At check out i waited to be asked how my stay was but was just told I was ok to go.

I would not stay at this property again whilst they are having building work and refurbishments done. I don’t think that they are clear enough about this work that is currently happening when you book the hotel, especially through Expedia. We were woken up at 6.15am by noise above our heads on the first morning. Most of the staff were brilliant but there was one staff member who never greeted us at the front desk and this was disappointing.
