There was no body wash in the barhroom and the room phone didn't work so I had to go to the front desk to ask for body wash. They simply didn't have it and I was told to just use soap. Then a service person sent a bunch of body lotion to the room. I supposed they didn't understand English? This is really a very poor place to stay even for one night.

Loved: Super friendly staff, good parking situation, fun lobby, ample breakfast buffet (hot sauce, ketchup & mustard a plus!) bathroom heat lamp, two sinks in the room, toilet paper options! excellent outdoor patio accoutrements. Sister loved the pillows so much that she ordered them from her bed :) Didn’t Love: shower handle set up, lots of chipped paint and wear and tear of furniture, scent of room, hey wears my smoker? (Some had, some didn’t!) no slumber party rule (wth ?)

Convenient location for getting to Illinois football game. 15 minutes away from stadium parking. Property is dated but nice. Breakfast was better than most. Only thing I didn't like was building entrance door lock wasn't working so no security at the time.

The rating of the property was deceptive. While the room size was ok, the property is not managed well. Our room was smelling throughout our stay. In 9 days the room was cleaned twice. We were told that it's only once in 3 days (after asking about it. We weren't informed at booking or check-in). Definitely one of the worst stays I have had.

You can tell it was a very nice establishment once upon a time. That was then. It is a bit outdated. That was not the problem. When I got to my room, turned on the lights, I saw big ROACHES scattering. I immediately got the heebie jeebies and ran out the room with my husband and got a refund. I was disgusted.

We didn’t like nothing about this hotel The second we walked in the door it was a bad odor. Bed bugs dirty carpet the rooms was not clean the beds look like somebody had already been sleeping on it

The room was clean. The inside of the facility was recently renovated and looked nice. The outside needs some work. Breakfast was not very good. The area surrounding the hotel was a bit sketchy. The beds had spring mattresses, but I found them comfortable. Overall it was an average hotel and worked for a quick overnight.
