Hotel was probably good in the 80's. Needs a good update. Cockroach made a visit to the room. Local police department was there to evict sqauters supposedly. Not sure how that is possible as I had get a new key card every few hours. Breakfast was OK. Dont expect much in the morning, dried out sausage and lots of grape Jelly if that's your jam. Hotel slots paid out at least! Wont be returning!

Everything's broken!! Do better ES.
Room was clean . Pillows suck. Shower very good water pressure unlike most hotels. Pool good. The bad: Fitness room. Everything was broke. Broken cables, treadmills and ellipticals didn't turn on. No free weights of they were stolen is my guess. Breakfast is a joke. Obvious the sausage patties were being re-used for weeks on end. Shoe leather is better. Food was cold. Milk dispensers and juice machine broke. No surprise. Hey Eastland: We pay $$$/ night and we get busted up stuff & bad breakfast fare.

Needs better maintenance.
The breakfast was good! The room was not well maintained. Light by the door did not come on. Lamp on desk did not work. The door to the bathroom had several areas in which the surface was damaged. The toilet had a bent handle. The supplies of toiletries were meager. The back of the property sidewalk and parking lot needed to be swept. The door to the outside did not close and lock on its own.

I booked this because all the other hotels were occupied, and mysteriously, this was rated highly. The lobby smells funky and there are slot machines - that should tell you all there's to know about this dump. It's a bit ironic they make you sign not to smoke on the property, while the dingy, rundown room reeks of stale cigarette smoke. One of the "neighbors" was partying past midnight. At 1230, the front-desk agreed to "do something about that," but a half hour they were at it again, and at 4am, there was still a lot of noise and music. Can I get my money back? This place ought to be shut down.

We waited about half an hour for our room as it wasnt ready. When we finally checked in and got to the room, the comforter and sheet on one of the two beds had stains. Linens are overdue for replacement. Carpet was not vacuumed. The lady at the front desk who checked us in, reeked so bad. I should’ve seen it as a sign! I selected this hotel for a 1-night stay due to the reviews. Still scratching my head in puzzlement why the review is good, overall.
