The Club Quarters Houston is a nice older building that is very well kept. It's easy to walk to the convention center from the hotel. The staff is very nice and professional. A great place to stay in downtown Houston

Staff was unpleasant aside from the door guys. Elevator took 5+ minutes and had to use the stairs. Upgraded to a suite and it was filthy. Stained floors, marks on the door, carpeting was peeling, and there were bunches of hair/dirt on the floors. Room service for food went straight to voicemail after one ring every time.

This hotel is all about location. Great location, but the room aren't great for the price. I've had better rooms in Motels for a third of what a room costs in this hotel. Self check in/out is nice. But I could hear everyone that went by my room and all the conversations and the doors opening and closing.
