I recently stayed at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston Near the Galleria and had a generally pleasant experience. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Galleria Mall, which made shopping and dining very convenient. The room was comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen that was perfect for preparing meals. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the spacious layout of the suite. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, since I traveled with kids. However, I was disappointed with the parking situation. The hotel charges $23 per day for self-parking. Given the overall cost of the stay, I believe parking should be included. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but would recommend the hotel consider revising their parking fees to enhance the guest experience.

One of the two elevators was broken for most of our stay. Breakfast did not offer a single vegetable which I really found add, and the fruit - watermelon was cut hours before and not the best. Great location but for the area I would not go back to this hotel.

Breakfast not as good as other reviewers claimed. Selection is the same as any other hotel with free breakfast. Some appliances were broken/unavailable for use. Front desk management was poor. Did not explain any facilities/locations/hidden parking charges until it showed up on my bill after my stay. Unfriendly if you needed any additional help/have questions. Will not be staying here again.

The pool wasnt not the one in the picture and whem we went to the pool the water was loaded with chlorine coudnt even breath in the pool room and the water was extreamly cloudy in the pool no way i let my kids in there other than that everythng was perfect service was great

This was the 1st time staying in a Homewood Suites by Hilton. I expected with the name Hilton, the hotel would be in the best condition. However, it has a lot of wear and tear. It needs to be updated. The 5th floor had a "wet" dog odor and I would assume this was associated with the dirty carpet. This hotel really needs more upkeep. Overall I give this an average rating.
