I called Expedia the night before the reservation to cancel after the cruise had been cancelled unexpectantly. I was left on hold by the customer service agent from Expedia who advised me that the hotel refused to credit the cancellation. I don't understand why I am now being asked about the reservation that I tried to cancel. How disappointing between Expedia and Hyatt.

The downtown area of Houston this hotel is in is terrible. Homeless people are everywhere. Cannot go out after dark. Walking to get food is awful. Streets smell like human excrement. Homeless beg for food, follow you, etc. the shake shack up the street has an armed security guard. I was scared to leave the hotel.
