Bought a lake view hiest floor, they oversold and made me waitfor over an hour, gave me a cheaper one and told me it was expidia's fault. Hyatt management did not do anything to help and blame us for using 3rd party expidia, in the morning other supervisor told me to check out as they needed our room. Very rude.

This was our 2nd time staying at Hyatt Sugar Land. The amazing experience we had the first time we visited there 2 years ago was the reason we booked here again. No maintenance done on the rooms in a long time it seems. Limescale everywhere, toilet has a leak and comes straight out the floor tile grout, shower head needs cleaning, shower hose is damaged, corridor leading to room had an awful chemical smell and a huge basket filled with nasty water and hoses from the ceiling, very noisy guests running up and down the hallway. Every time i go to sugarland i stay here but i might book another hotel next time, not that much of a difference in price but huge difference in maintenance etc. The view out the window is nice though.

Just ok.
Great location, clean room, fast elevators. The shower door was super heavy and kept on getting stuck, loose screws in the bathroom can be dangerous if you have younger children, no laundry on site, and no microwave in the rooms was definitely not good. The pool area wasn’t that great either, very small and rusty furniture. The breakfast options weren’t great or kid friendly.

Lazy, unfriendly and not courteous staff.
Unfriendly staff. Felt like they are sitting there to tell you “NO” to every request. One example Me - Can I get a warm milk for my kid please. reply - “i’m not sure if we can warm it for you “. Although we have this big espresso machine sitting right here. Me - okay I will heat it in the microwave here Can I get an extra cup Reply- no we are not supposed to give this to you until you bring one cup from your room as a replacement”
