This hotel has seen much better days. The staff were friendly though. The cleaning of the floors and sheets left much to be desired. There was blood on one of the sheets and the inside of one of the lamp shades. Hope you aren’t expecting to use the wifi for anything important as it often couldn’t download an email.

Good front desk but disappointing room/breakfast
Check in was smooth and they allowed us earlier check in which was nice. But during our stay the wifi kept cutting out and there was cigarette smell coming into the room periodically. Wasn’t much for breakfast, things ran out by 7am and didn’t see anyone checking to add more. Only some hush browns (which was very dry) and some super oily bacon left. Later some hard boiled eggs were added I think someone went to the front desk to complain about the lack of breakfast items available. But the eggs were dry and kind of rubbery in texture. We were in the same hotel back in January 2024 and it was totally fine, so we booked it again for this September trip and this time the experience was not good. Not sure if there has been management changes in the meantime.

The manager here is a bit ridiculous. Multiple occasions I witnessed him arguing or being straight up rude to customers. Check in was supposed to be at 3 pm, showed up at 6pm and the room still wasn't ready so was told to come back around 8pm. Completely unacceptable. Also couldn't get the TV to work cause the wrong remote was in the room so I called the front desk, manager said he'd be up in about ten minutes to resolve the issue. After about an hour of waiting, I went down to the lobby to find the manager sitting on the couch on his cell phone. I feel bad for the other friendly staff that have to put up with this dude. He's absolutely ridiculous.

Terrible hotel! They let me check in without a key! I booked the room from Expedia, after I paid deposit and tax, they let a staff open the room door for me. When I asked for the key, the staff said I need talk to the manager. I got back to the manager , he said they couldn’t provide a key for my room but only let their staff open door for me if I out the room. The manager even said his staff can do that for more than 10 times if I need. What kind of attitude it is? If the room not ready with a key why they sell it? Why they didn’t tell me no key for the room before I check in? They grabbed the money and didn’t offer a basic service. I had to cancel it and left the terrible hotel! But the cancellation is still pending under working of Expedia with the hotel. I couldn’t believe this happened in Canada! It’s really a terrible experience for me and I am very sad and angry about it!!

I paid extra for an accessible room ahead ofntime, and when i got there they didnt have the room i paid for available. So i had to stay on the fifth floor. I alos asked for my money back to go somewhere else or a discount because the rooms upstairs weren't as much to rent, but i was denied both. Then the second day we were told we could move to an accessible room, but when we got to the front desk to move there was supposedly a leak in said room so we had to wait more to get into it. The rooms were not nice rooms. It wasnt a pleasant stay at all and we ended up leaving a night early and we never received any discounts of any sort.

The location was great but the amenities were not advertised. Room was pretty bad with no phone or iron. There was no toilet paper holder in the bathroom and the hair dryer was off the wall. The place needs better up keeping.

Room was only cleaned twice in 7 days, breakfast was often slim pickings even closer to opening, room key didnt work 3 days in a row, big hassle having to go to the lobby and wait in line for the slowest counter ive ever witnessed. Had to pay a local tax, worker couldnt explain to me the tax rate, even though they used a calculator to get the amount.

Rooms are serviced once every three days therefore you must fetch clean towels and toilet paper. They also did not remove garbage which fell to us to remove. Consulted the manager who said hotel is full and they don’t have enough staff. I told him that is not the customers problem but his problem.

the key to door need reset every time i left room. check in was slow and swiped mc and i entered my card then at 10:00 pm i get a call to do damage deposit again so hope i don’t get scammed. at 10 am i get a call if i had checked out i said no is the check out time not at 11 they said yes and i told them that’s when i will check out. elevator was shaking and funny nosies

That was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. And I don’t have incredibly high standards. So if anyone is rated it good or excellent their standards must be in the toilet. It was filthy. It was not cleaned. I was worried about infestations. The quality of the hotel was terrible. Walls were chipped floors were stained or coming up, ceiling panels were falling down, outlet plates were falling off the wall and there were lots of questionable individuals coming and going throughout my stay. I prepaid for two nights only stayed one paid through Expedia. So couldn’t get a refund, which is fine, so the hotel was able to rent my room for the second night to someone else even though I paid for it and informed me that besides what I paid on Expedia, I had to pay an ADDITIONAL $9.58 fee they said Expedia “doesn’t collect”. so they got double payment for the room the second night I decided not to stay and I still had to pay a fee I was not aware of. Aside from that….. it is not clean and not safe. That is the biggest issue!
