Water draining is a serious issue
The overall hotel room was clean for the most part and had good AC/clean sheets. However, there is a serious drain/piping issue because the bathroom tub drain was completely clogged and we had to move rooms as a result and then the new room’s bathroom sink was draining very slowly where water built up very quickly. This was quite annoying and should not be the case when paying $ >200 per night.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The walls are paper thin. Carpet disgusting. Our room was full of mold and smelled terrible. Thankfully all we did was sleep—wouldn’t want to spend any more time in this hotel.

I liked that there was NO carpet, the halls and rooms very muggy, there were humidifiers plugged in in each hallway, and yes I understand its a beach town. The outside doors were not locked, the room door had a huge gap. The staff however were GREAT!!!

Location is excellent. It's an old property and the rooms show the age. Old carpet; doors not properly fitting frames; a/c window unit put out musty odor. Thin sheets on the bed.

The Comfort Inn was in a great location. Beds were comfortable. Room could have been cleaner (windows dirty and bathroom had corner mold and tub was stained and peeling). The breakfast was little to be desired (cold scrambled eggs and not enough variety of items).

Great location for price
The hotel is perfectly situated in Hyannis with only a 10 minute walk from the port (for ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket), and a few steps from downtown Hyannis. The hotel is a bit outdated, and has a bit of a musty smell in the room, but the mattress and pillows were new and very comfortable, and this was all that mattered for us since we were only in the hotel to sleep. The breakfast offering could use some updating since the same thing was served during the 3 days we were there (scrambled eggs felt like a wet sponge, sausage patties too greasy, zero fat yogurt was flavorless yet full of sugar). Overall, the price and location suited our needs.
