The management was overwhelmed due to staff shortage, but thry were doing their best. They were very welcoming and helpful. We did not eat in the hotel. Location is great.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Shower needs better design - the entire floor got soaked because there is no door and the drain was clogged
Pros: hotel is within close walking distance to train and bus stations, shopping mall, and restaurants/bars; nice breakfast buffet
Cons: property requires maintenance; location is noisy at night; interior of hotel is very dark, creating a dingy feeling.
It was a very good experience. The hotel was in transition of ownership. The hair dryer did not work, and I could not figure out how to make the water for coffee work. However, I’m an American, and, honestly, it could have been lack of understanding of how things work.
The facility was fine. I thought that that hallways were a very dark. I loved the location in Inverness. I went to get some food the one night and because you had a tour bus eating I really couldn't get food.
This property was listed as 4 star. It is hardly a 2 star. WAY over priced. No actually lobby. You have to check in at the bar on the main level. Bathroom unacceptable. The TV never did work. Called staff repeatedly with no results. The actual value was half what we had to pay.
I have to say that the stay was pleaseant. Staff was very kind. The only objection is the rooms doesnt have AA. The supervisor provided an small fan. For me that is really important amenity and was not explicit mentioned in the advertising. For a 4 star hotel should be included. Other than that was excelent. The best thing is the breakfast. A lot of good healthy options besides the traditional scottish breakfast

Overpriced and under delivered
Disappointed with the hotel. Very obvious mould in bathroom and no fan to distill steam and smells. No fridge in room either.
Drinks at bar were London prices £18 for large glass of mediocre white wine.
Staff on the other hand were delightful. Breakfast- along time cooked and again substandard
