Excellent location and property for Porcupine Mtn area. Hotel is great and there is a pizza/burger place down the street called Porkies Depot. DO NOT EAT at restaurant next door Superior View as it is not good.

Visiting the porcupine Mountains

We stayed here so we could get up and hike the Porcupine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was really nice and comfortable. And the mountains were beautiful.

Great location for the porcupine mountains. Staff was quick and efficient. Room was spotless. The hotel showing its age a little bit, but overall it's well-maintained. The only odd thing was there was an odd smell in the hallways which I couldn't place, but definitely would stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay and had a Great Lake side room.. very nice hotel and staff. My only complaint is the restaurant closed a lot earlier than advertised by sign outside.. so we had no dinner. It was a Friday night( we got there at 7, was suppose to be open till 9),very disappointing since this was one of the reason we picked this hotel. We noticed this the next night also..

Don't stay here!

The most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in. They also double charged us for the one night and we are jumping through hoops to try and get this back. I have a feeling we will never see that money again...frustrating!!
