Welcome to High Life at the IOP – a charming and immaculately maintained studio condo that perfectly combines style, convenience, and comfort. Whether you're here for a quick getaway or an extended stay, this thoughtfully decorated retreat offers everything you need to unwind and enjoy island life.

The spacious main room features a king-sized bed, a cozy sofa sitting area, and a dedicated dining space, all designed for relaxation. The adjoining kitchen is compact but well-equipped, with a large toaster oven, regular toaster, microwave, refrigerator, drip coffee maker, and a single-eye countertop induction cooktop. Please note, the cooktop works with steel-bottomed pans (one 2-quart soup pot is provided), making it ideal for preparing simple meals right in your condo. Plates, bowls, silverware, and coffee mugs are also included for your convenience.

The updated bathroom includes stylish tile and glass features, plus ample counter space for all your essentials.

As you step through the entryway, you'll notice the creative destination decals on the wall – a fun touch from past guests who have left their mark. (Feel free to add your own hometown decal – it's a great way to leave a little piece of yourself behind!)

Although this unit is located on the back side of The Ocean Inn, the soothing sound of the waves from the nearby beach will remind you that you're just a short walk away from the ocean. Free onsite parking is available for your convenience, and you'll find coin laundry facilities just steps away.

The Ocean Inn complex also features two grilling areas and a small private pool exclusively for guests, perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach. The condo is just a 5-minute walk to the beach and some of the island’s top restaurants. Plus, you're conveniently located near the Isle of Palms Connector, making it an easy drive to Mt. Pleasant or just 25 minutes to downtown Charleston.

For pet lovers, we welcome dogs only (please get pre-approval for pets over 20 lbs – some larger breeds may not be allowed). Pet fees are required based on weight and are added as an extra guest fee. There’s a vet clinic nearby and pet stores in Mt. Pleasant to take care of your furry friend’s needs. If you're not bringing a pet, rest assured, we maintain a spotless space with no evidence of past guests' pets.

For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.. WE ABIDE BY ALL CANCELLATION POLICIES. Trip insurance is available and strongly encouraged.
**MINIMUM BOOKING AGE is 25 at all of our properties. The person holding the reservation must be staying at the property. No 3rd party booking is allowed.
**MINIMUM NIGHTS Some of our properties have "minimum nights required" to make a reservation on weekends, holidays, and during the summer season. To check availability for a shorter stay, please send a message / inquiry. If it's possible, we'd be happy to accommodate you.

** ITEMS PROVIDED: Soaps, linens, towels and starter paper products will be in your condo upon arrival. Routine linen and towel exchanges are not provided during your stay. Guests are responsible for replacing their own paper and soap products if starter amounts are used during their stay. It is not necessary to replace these for future guests.
**SMOKING All of our properties are NO SMOKING properties. Smoking is allowed outdoors only. Please discard appropriately. Deposit will be forfeited and additional cleaning charges incurred if evidence of smoking indoors is found upon departure. THIS INCLUDES smoking by an open door or window so that smoke enters the condo. Please smoke away from these areas.

Absolutely Stay Here!!

Ocean Inn is in the absolute perfect location for not being on the beach. It's only a 2-3 minute walk to the public access beach, restaurants, ice cream, and suvenir shops. For restaurants that are not beach-front, the unit is literally across the street (Acme, Sea Biscuit, and Cafe Paname). The unit was perfectly clean upon our arrival and parking was easy. We would absolutely, 100% stay here again, and we recommend you stay here, too.

A very cozy place to stay for weekend trip with your family & pup. Property manager was super kind and had great communication. Would recommend this place to friends and family looking for a great location, close to the beach, stores, and restaurants.This location is the perfect walking distance to basically anything you would want to do or need at the beach. We met so many friendly travelers also staying at this location. Definitely will be going back in the future !

Perfect place to stay

This condo exceeded all our expectations!!!! The place was beautiful and clean and up to date. Having beach chairs come with the place was amazing and the very short walk to the beach was incredible! The ocean inn is right beside where municipal parking is for the beach so you are as close to the beach is for everyone driving into the beach. The beach itself was beautiful, clean, serene, filled with families with small kids or people with dogs - it was amazing! The condo itself was decorated so nice! It was just my daughter and me but my son could have easily stayed too on the pull out couch. The bed is huge and so comfortable and the bath and kitchenette are so nice! This place is really close to a Harris teeter too which was perfect for getting groceries the first night. Everyone else staying in the ocean inn was quiet and kind. I couldn’t have been happier!!! Highly highly recommend this beautiful condo and we’ll definitely be back. Beth was super helpful when I called about check in but she’d already sent wonderful instructions via email. You’ll love it !!

Great property in close proximity to the beach. Less than a 5 minute walk to shops and public beach access. The property is super clean and everyone is extremely nice. The room was very cozy for 2 adults and our 2 dogs with nice added touches including a special treat for our pups. I highly recommend and will definitely stay again

Nice getaway

I booked this quickly and did little research, as such, I was a little nervous. There was an event on the island that occurred before our stay. I couldn’t have felt more safe and had an amazing getaway. I have a wife and two daughters (5 & 9) who didn’t mind the quick walk to the beach. The municipal complex across the road (safety). A little coffee shop behind the complex (delicious coffee and croissants). The place is in a great location and everyone was laid back. If you need anything, the property manager was very responsive and absolutely wonderful for our stay. The place is great, but should anything go wrong - they’re phenomenal! Wonderful getaway trip! We’ll be back!

The room worked perfectly for us. Very clean. Very short walk to two restaurants. Easy walk to beach which was crowded since it was the start of school vacation week in the area. But easy walk to less crowded area. Easy access to bridge off the island and trip to Charleston/Mt. Pleasant areas. I would consider staying here again. Provided beach chairs and an umbrella; needed both! Provided coffee but no creamer. Grocery store nearby so my husband ran out to get me milk in the morning. Great contact from host.

Perfect For One

Enjoyed my stay in this nicely decorated studio apartment. Great space with a comfy bed and a sofa. Relaxing and quiet. So close to everything you need or want to do. Yards from two of the best restaurants in IOP. Beaches were divine and also within walking distance. So much better than staying in Charleston. Short drive to anything you want to do in Charleston.
