Perfect Spot to Relax

We loved the house, top to bottom. Ocean views and sounds of the waves made it very special. The location is wonderful for beach access and touring the area.

Very nice house, location and beach! We really enjoyed our stay and the house is a very short walk to the beach in a very nice neighborhood. The key lock box is to the left when you park even though instructions state to the right. Otherwise everything was great!

Wonderful Location

House was beautiful inside! Enjoyed the two outdoor porches. Very close to the Ocean! Boathouse Restaurant was delicious and within walking distance. Plenty of room and seating. Kitchen had everything we needed. If you like Italian food the Bricco Bracco is a must!

Our third stay in 10 years

This was our third stay here in the past 10 years. The property is nice and an easy walk to the beach. The onlybproblem that wd had was that the master bath shower was full of black mildew all along the base. We txted the property manager on day 1 and asked that it be cleaned an caulked immediately. They said they would take care of it the next day, but they never came. This meant we could only use one shower for our week stay. Property is great but managment is not.

Relaxing Stay

We enjoyed our stay. The house was cute and spacious. Loved that we could sit on the deck and enjoy the relaxing sounds of the beach. We would stay there again. Only one down side was the fire detector in the main bedroom was not in place. Other than that, everything was great.

Mixed Bag

Vacasa was great to work with. They made sure to provide all of the information needed in a timely manner. The check-in and check-out process was very easy. The house was a mixed bag. The location was great. It is a quiet and peaceful area. The outdoor space was also fantastic. The top deck has a view of the ocean and the bottom screened in porch is nice for sitting outside. The bathrooms and kitchen are updated and very nice. We cooked on Christmas day and the kitchen is well stocked with everything that you need. The television is great and we had no problems with the wifi and streaming. Also, the house was clean for the most part. However, the house definitely needs some TLC. Most of the furniture feels old and outdated. Many pieces are damaged or just worn and stained. There are some minor issues that just need repaired (a broken lamp and broken blinds in the second bedroom, a missing smoke detector in the master bedroom, etc). The carpet upstairs is worn out and stained. It just could use some general upkeep. Also, we could never find the source but there was a strong musty/old odor in the house. In fairness to Vacasa - it was the Christmas weekend and we did not ask them to do any repairs during our stay. The house worked for our stay and we didn't spend too much time at the house with so many fun things to do in the area. We will stay in that area again when we come back and we will use Vacasa again. However, we would not choose to stay at this house again.

Quiet stay by the Ocean

We loved the screened in porch and the very short walk to the beach. Very quiet neighborhood and easy to get on and off the island. Water pressure in showers could be a tad better. We were expecting to use the washer/dryer in the unit but the washer was not working and we received very little information from management regarding what the problem was and when it would be fixed. Information was not updated without us having to message several times about the status. We stayed 17 nights and expected to use the washer/dryer. Ended up going to a laundry mat which wasted relaxing porch time. We would stay again but would ask if the washer was fixed before booking. Kitchen could use some more bowls but other than that it was well stocked with dishes and utensils. Would be nice if they supplied more paper products and extra towels (couldn't wash them due to washer was broken) for each guest for the price you pay.

Booked a 4 night, 5 day stay, had to leave 2 days earlier because of a hurricane approaching the area, Vasaca gave excuses for no refund on remaining time☹️☹️☹️ Lost a customer, won’t do business with them again Other than the customer service being greedy, we had a great time for 2 days. Will go back to the area again but will not book anything through Vasaca !!!!

Clean property- spacious house

Enjoyed our stay- very clean house and close to the beach. House did smell a bit musty but that's probably due to the closeness to the ocean. Construction going on next door which woke us up at 7am during our stay- a bit annoying as there was a noise ordinance for us but apparently it doesn't apply for construction. It was unsightly as well as there was a big garbage dumpster right outside of the house which brought vermin around in the evening. Other than this temporary issue we would choose to stay here again when the construction is over. Rental agency said there could be a chance for early check in or late checkout but that was not an option. Driving for the keys was a bit of a pain as well but overall we enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful house

We loved the house. It was beautiful and clean. We only had a few problems: 1. Check-in and checkout were cumbersome, as we had to drive to an office before and after our visit. 2. A house is being built exactly behind this one, and the construction was SO LOUD. 3. The blow dryer was from the 1970s and didn't work. and 4. We couldn't find the washer and dryer, and the house included no instructions inside it.

Great home for beaching and getting around the area

This house in Isle of Palms was a great getaway for my family. Isle of Palms is located far enough off the beaten path that you're away from the Charleston crowds this time of year, but close enough that it's just an easy 20 minute drive to get to Charleston's downtown district. At the house, the bedrooms were appropriately outfitted and there were even extra blankets in the closets if you needed them. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows to prop up if you want to lounge around in the mornings. Each room had plenty of closet/drawer space to unpack and there was an iron and ironing board in the master suite for any possible travel creasing. The bathrooms were great. Plenty of counter space, drawer space and ledge space for unpacking toiletries. The only small complaint we had was a slow drain issue in the two-sink bathroom's tub. Water pressure was good and there was always enough hot water. The kitchen and living space was perfect with it's mostly open plan and a small half bath off the foyer. We were always able to visit with each other even if someone was cooking in the kitchen. The kitchen was well outfitted with everything but pot holders. We ended up using the dish towels provided, the few times we used the oven. Also all but one of the coffee mugs were on the small side: 6oz. So be aware. The furniture in the living area was all very comfortable and many naps were taken. The lower deck was enjoyable in the cool of the day and there were plenty of places to sit and lounge. Some of the chairs could've used some padding, but for the amount of time we spent out there, it was completely acceptable. There was plenty of parking space and both an outdoor shower and a hose to rinse off sand from the beach. We appreciated the house's starter pack provided (dish soap, dishwasher pods etc) and were also happy to find out that the trash cans were moved up the driveway at the appropriate time without our involvement. If there is any real complaint, it's that this listing mentions a laundry option (which was housed in the basement accessed via an outer door), but instructions on how to get into the laundry were unclear. The provided house keys did not seem to fit the door. We were only there for a week, so we didn't find it a real issue to pursue, but if you are interested in using the laundry make sure to ask Wyndham's front desk upon arrival. Overall, a great, restful stay. We would rent the house again!
