We arrived at 7 pm...there was no one at the Check in counter for 10 minutes. Someone was there before me...it was 20 minutes before I had the key cards. We went to the room to find a running toilet...it would fill up...leak down...fill up...leak down...every minute or so (I have video of it). There was mold on the cover of the ironing board (Room 111) and the ceiling above the ironing board (I have pictures of the mold). It took the lady at the front desk another 45 minutes to check the room and give us a key card to another room where we found rust on the closet door frame and and a musty smell (Rm 137). While we were waiting for her to get the new key card so we could inspect the next room we (my wife, 24 yr old daughter and myself) we noticed 4 people loitering under one of the stairways. They did not seem to be motel/hotel guests...they were loud and pulling stuff out of the closet under the stairway. My wife said, "I don't feel safe here." I agreed and asked for a refund. The lady at the Check in desk...Stephanie...said she couldn't refund us anything because we made the reservations through Expedia.
PLEASE REFUND OUR MONEY. We did NOT stay either night at the Ramada...we went to the LaQuinta Inn next door and their room was clean...the property was friendly and comfortable and we were so grateful to stay. I can provide you with the pictures of the mold, the video of the running toilet and our receipt for our stay at the LaQuinta.
