Very consistent at the Tonquin. Price is reasonable. Hot tub need to be hotter at 4pm. Excellent front desk service.

The room was average, but smelled heavily of wood that had been cleaned with the wrong chemicals. Also, we called the front desk and asked if we could bring our drinks to the hot tub, and they told us no, but when we got to the hot tubs there were a geoup of people partying and drinking alcohol while sitting in the tub. When management came by to inform us that the tub was closing at 10:00, he saw the case of drinks, and people drinking while in the tub and said nothing.

The whiskey jack grill had some excellent food at modest prices (relative to quality) 25 to 30 for an entire. The room was clean but there is no ventilation in the rooms. Just radiant heat.

Tonquin Inn is good value and more affordable than some of the other hotels in Jasper if you don't mind a bit of a walk to get to pubs and restaurants. Clean rooms. Easy parking.
