Sibling weekend get together.
Stayed on Jekyll for a long weekend with my brothers and sisters to attend the shrimp and grits festival. The house was in a nice quiet neighborhood and conveniently located. The only downside was the house comes with the bare minimum. Very few kitchen cookware, cups and glasses. No kitchen dish cloths or towels provided. Bed linen provided, but no extra blankets provided. It did have extra sheets. They provided bath towels and cloths. This is my only complaint. Other than the lack of stocked items I’m used to at other places I’ve stayed, it was a wonderful house. I would stay again, but I would be better prepared and bring a lot more with me.

Comfortable home in an ideal location
Nice property with backyard view of lake and golf course. Plenty of room, sleeps 8. Terrific location in quiet neighborhood, about 2 miles from the historic neighborhood, 1 mile from golf and tennis courses, both of which we visited frequently. A half mile to the walking and biking path that circles the island. Home is well stocked and furnished although the decor is a bit dated as shown in the photos. This was surprisingly available only a few days before we needed a place. Property managers were very responsive and helpful. Overall we had a great vacation staying there.

Another Great Jekyll Vaca
Jekyll Island is a wonderful, relaxing vacation place. This house was comfortable and in a great, quiet location. We enjoyed both the front porch and the back patio with the golf course lake view. Lots of room inside and stocked with necessary kitchen needs. It is an older home, with an older interior appearance . All-in-all the house was clean, but the bathroom shower floor needed a deeper cleaning with mold in the corners. There are 'no smoking' signs, but at the first entrance, it seemed to have a smoking odor, or maybe the house was closed up for awhile. With a little fabreeze, the house was fine. The vacuum sweeper that was used just sprayed out dust into the kitchen trying to pick up spilled food. With all of this being said though, we did agree that we would consider it again because of the location, view and large interior space.
