We've stayed here a few different times and it's been great each time. Friendly and helpful staff and nice clean rooms. My kids loved the pool and hot tub also.

What we expected for the price paid although they must have power outages often as the room had a battery lantern supplied. Good thing. Power in the motel and area went out about 3 a.m. and stayed out. Had to leave in darkness. Made the stairs especially dangerous.
Staff were professional and friendly. Room was clean, if dated, and we got a restful night’s sleep.

Affordable
My main reason for choosing this hotel was the location on my route, pet friendly, low price and higher star rating.
I arrived just before 8pm, the Check in process was seamless and the gentleman at the front desk was very polite and professional.
My room was on the 2nd floor, I was able to park nearby a stairwell and easily head to my room, door key worked without any issues.
The room was a fine size, well stocked, the decor was fine but in desperate need of a fresh paint job with a neutral color, bed and room temperature comfortable and complete with a fridge and microwave.
The cleanliness of the bathroom was lacking- dirty old shower curtain and dust mixed with human hairs around the base of the toilet.
The rooms are carpeted with multiple large stains throughout- not the best option for a pet friendly set up. I gated my pup off in the bathroom vanity area to avoid any further stains as I’m pretty sure it smelled like a giant toilet area to any canine.
The grounds are messy and deteriorating, cement is crumbling and the paint is old and stained. The landscaping was uncared for with overgrown thorny bushes and blown over sunburned advertising flags.
Anywhere you attempt to take your dog potty on the grounds is covered thorny weeds.
There are long term residents with reactive dogs on the premises.
Overall- I would not stay here again and was expecting something much better based on the other reviews- Either pay for a little better or go with a Motel 6.
Rustic cabins, hiking trails, dramatic views, beautiful scenery around, good place for outdoors adventures.
The cabins are hit or miss. No internet access, trails are crowded on weekends.

With your expectations set relatively low it’s a great place. Rooms were clean and did not smell like cleaning chemicals. Furnishings were old but unique. In my room, there was furniture made from elm wood from doors of 100 year old Chinese houses. I thought it was definitely unique. The front desk person didn’t know the story though so potentially fake. No free breakfast and coffee was available on Friday through Sunday after 9am. The attached restaurant was good and cheap though. I’ve definitely stayed in more expensive motels that were much worse.
Basic property that was a convenient stop on a road trip. Ample parking, easy to find.
The bathroom was dirty, hair on the floor and urine stains when we lifted the seat. The shower took 15 mins to get hot water.
There was a fridge and a microwave, the tops of both were covered in dust. The sheets were clean but the pillows were terrible, stained and flat.
No breakfast, as was advertised when we booked, but got coffee in the lobby area.
We wouldn't stay again.
Old facility but well very well maintained. Hot water is now fixed it does fluctuate between hot and warm and cold a little bit. Obviously a very old heater for the hot water. The rooms have very comfy clean beds with fridge and micro- wave. Clean towels and clean facility. Bring your own coffee maker and blow dryer. There is tea bags downstairs. I bought a glass mug at dollar tree bought instant coffee and used microwave. The little family owned restaurant attached has cheap food and its daily high quality. I liked it so much I booked a second night.
