Biggest drawback was carpet that was soaking wet in one part of the room, led to musty smell. Mattress seemed old and not too supportive. Staff was courteous and helpful.

The rooms seemed clean (bathrooms were spotless) but there was a funky smell that made them feel dirty. The carpet was dirty. One of our non-smoking rooms smelled of smoke. The rooms were small tight and cramped. Inadequate space for 2 guests. The hallway had an awful food smell. Aesthetic was dated and needed a remodel. The hotel only offered room cleaning every third day. We requested daily room cleaning and the staff accommodated our request.

I'm sure that all rooms are not the same. I was just not that fortunate to get a fully furnished room. Which is sad since I paid for a King Suite. Lesson learned.

Quirky but fine
The hotel has some quirks. Our rooms floor was not level on the 2nd floor. The entertainment center had a wedge under it to keep it upright. The hallways were bowed as well. Did it affect our comfort and stay? No, but it was an adjustment when walking in front of the beds and needing to watch our steps. Breakfast was decent. There was eggs and a meat choice bother mornings as well as waffles, packaged muffins and danishes. The breakfast attendant and front desk worker were so kind and fun to chat with. Our kids had fun in the pool, it was clean and a decent size. It's definitely an older hotel with some need of upkeep, but it did it's job.

Arrived to check in around 8:15 and they had canceled our 2 rooms because we didnt arrive by 6pm EVEN THOUGH CHECK-IN is from 2 to midnight. NO PHONE CALL TO SEE IF WE WERE STILL COMING!! JUST CANCELLED ROOMS AND GAVE TO SOMEONE ELSE. So we had NO rooms and had to go find another hotel. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!
