Our one-bedroom condo on the beautiful grounds of Kihei Akahi is the ideal home-away-from-home. Make it your base for exploring the beautiful Valley Isle: from the 'Iao Valley to the Up-Country ranchland; from prime surfing spots at Pa'ia to the spectacular Hana Highway to the mystical Haleakala -- the dormant volcano rising up literally from Kihei's back yard.

And you're steps away from one of the greatest and most family-friendly beaches anywhere -- Kama'ole 2. Calving season is just starting for the humpback whales -- stick your head under the water and stay still, and you can hear the whales "talking" to one another, miles away! You can also stay put and watch for turtles swimming past. No matter how many times you see them, you can never grow tired of watching turtles up-close-and-personal.

And with the Kama'ole reefs and Molokini, you're in a snorkeller's paradise! Spend time hovering over colorful, exotic fish, and maybe even track an octopus! (Just stay away from the reefs and the sea urchins!)

Our fully furnished, one-bedroom (sleeps 4) condo has a tropical theme, with works by local Maui artists. You'll find a king-size bed in the bedroom, queen-size sofa-bed in the living room, deluxe kitchen and 1 bathroom, with BBQ, two pools and tennis (and pickleball!) courts on the grounds.

Now, a reality check: Maui is still recovering from the devastating fires that practically wiped out Old Town Lahaina. Much of the economy of the Valley Isle is based on tourism, so by coming to Maui, you're helping in that recovery.
