The extra Comforter and pillow covers in master bedroom were stinky. We washed them. Toaster doesn't work. Coffee maker doesn't work properly. Living room pull out bed is breaking. Wires are loose. We did enjoy the stay, we just thought we would let you know.

Needed Cleaning
The location and beach accessories were excellent. The condo really needed a deep cleaning and debugging. We had surprise cockroach visits on 3 occasions. Ants were a problem in one bathroom. We did not have pillowcases in one room and no extra blankets. After the second cockroach, I called Vacasa to complain on a Monday and was told it would be taken care of that day. No word until 4 days later. They put several traps for “sugar ants” in kitchen which didn’t have a problem and only one in the bathroom that did have the problem. I am not sure if the cleanliness of the place is a reflection of the owner or Vacasa management, but I was not impressed.

Dissapointed with this property
This was our 5th stay in the Maui Kamaole condo's and was by far our least favorite. I will first note some positives. Location is good to the upper pool. Decent supply of beach equipment. Beds were reasonably comfortable. Now on to the not so good. This condo is old and in desperate need of a thorough cleaning and much more. We arrived to a condo that had not been cleaned properly. Crumbs in kitchen cabinet drawers and a fridge that was dirty and had not been wiped out. All the rugs are stained and in dire need of a cleaning. There were other problems as well but would take to long to list them all. We did talk to a Vacasa rep that phoned to review our check in etc. and at that time I did express my concerns. After that they at least replaced the shower rod that would not stay up and brought us the remainder of our welcome package that was not in the condo. I have also sent my concerns regarding our stay in this rental directly to Vacasa.
